That is amazing, I couldn't have guessed from the start that what you would create would look so good. Really enjoyed watching the process, you make it look so easy. Thank you.
Another gem Dave. Very nice piece. I particularly like the softness of the track blending into the painting, you have a way of making that look so easy when many of us would overwork it. You have always been a master at using Black to make your greens and so very effective in this painting. Hope all is well with you there. We are getting some late summer here after what must be one of the worst weather years ever in this part of France.
You're very kind, Mikcor, I appreciate your comment. You can make a range of greens using black but I mostly use Payne's grey. Autumn is well and truly established here at the moment and the dark evenings are a bit depressing. Yes, it's not been a good year but we can invent our weather as artists. Thanks for posting and happy painting. :)
Love this style of painting Dave. Very vibrant and expressive. Also enjoyed the L S Lowry documentary that I watched on your recommendation. I was not familiar with his work until I watched your video. Very interesting program. Thank you.
WOW! This truly is gorgeous Dave.. loving the beautiful scenery you have done here with varieties of lush greens, wonderful atmosphere to it and movement which has given me lots of memories walking places just like this, i love all what you have done and consider it superb and a sure seller.. i am putting into my favorites and wish i could jump into this one :)) :)) :))
Glad you enjoyed it Sharon, many thanks for your comment. I watched an old doc. on You tube earlier on Marc Chagall, beautiful, reminded me of your lovely Spirit painting. A wonderful artist. :)
I had to watch this again Dave because i absolutely adore it and i melt watching this come together, i just cannot for the life of me understand why you are not famous because this is just one of the most loveliest paintings i have watched over and over again, along with many others of yours.. has this one sold ? For i would love it :) Many thanks for being such a wonderful inspiration to me 🥰😍🤩❤👏👏👏
Lovely work Dave, really love this, so pastoral and serene, it really is rather soothing when there is so much ugliness around our world right now. Keep doing what your doing you are a treasure and no mistake. God Bless, good luck with the renovations and best wishes to Sandie hope she is feeling bettter.
Many thanks Carolyn, might be too noisy with the renovation for videoing today. Sandie is OK thanks, still shaking off the 4 hr. anaesthetic improving. The op was to recalibrate her heart rate which caused breathlessness and a 200 per minute heart rate. :)
