BUT......something like this if not set up EXACTLY CORRECT will make a huge amount of bad loads in a hurry. You cant even take a leak and leave it run. Your liability insurance will be HUGE to cover yourself if someone gets injured from one of your rounds going off on its own or even worse. One of my neighbors about forty years ago reloaded some 45 ACP for his friend. In my friends own words he loaded them “hot”.....what ever that means. His friend lost two and a half fingers on the first shot. All because my neighbor thought he knew more about reloading and what “he liked” regardless of what the gun like or his friend. There was a bloody......vicious.....violent law suit. I tried to stay neutral and out of it. My neighbors ego was so huge, I could tell he was coming over even before he would leave his house. Eventually he sided with my ex wife in our divorce and that was that. Learn, read, study, before you reload. This is a serious hobby that is dangerous as hell. Load and play safe. I almost forgot, my neighbor had to sell his house, his wife ran off with another guy, his homeowners insurance he had did not cover enough, he is still working his but off in a machine shop making monthly payments to his friend the attorney. When you make something in this country and sell it, you are responsible for the injury it causes for 25......that’s TWENTY FIVE YEARS. It is not about the warranty. If you reload and sell them, and that guy gives them to some one else....YOU are still the responsible party, because YOU made them. I am planning to reload. I have presses...plural....yes ...presses. I want to progressively single stage every operation one shell at a time. That way I can track every operation to maintain the accuracy with actual numbers I want to achieve. It’s not about quantity or production speed, it’s all about my accuracy and repeatability in my process. One part of my process will be to load a certain number at a time....like 100 cartridges. I am only going to put just enough powder in the hopper to do the job. When smokeless powder is exposed to oxygen, it begins to deteriorate a small amount. I am going to put out only what I need. ....that’s just a small trick up my sleeve. Play safe.

@@ditzydoo4378 Camdex has something of a soso reputation amongst ammo manufacturers, for every person that reports flawless operation, you get somebody who complains they're nothing but headaches. Ammoload machines have a better reputation but are more expensive.

This is the dumbest thing i read all day, and i was on Reddit an hour ago. Ammunition manufacture is a high capital high volume, low profit business. Pretty much all the commercial ammo plants in the US have gone to 24/7 operation to try to meet demand. None are investing in expansion because A)this is a demand bubble that wont last more than a couple of years at the most and B) the current political climate makes sinking tens of millions into expansion even more risky.

The main building is about 10,000 sq ft, there is a couple smaller buildings that may be around 1500 or so sq ft. It’s closed and I’d assume on the list to be cleaned and demolished to make way for newer industry and warehousing in that area.

Half of gun broker is just people selling ammo they bought years ago at low prices and had in storage. Hold out and you can find ammo at normal prices. The facility in this video is no longer in operation.

@@mattmoschkau84 i do not think ammo is going back down in price maybe a little bit cheaper but this days are gone most of the ammo i got from gun broker is in new boxes any way those high prices , people will not shoot as much as they use to ,, i hope you are rite thanks

@@mattmoschkau84 there is also the rise of "ammo scalpers" who are cleaning out local inventory and reselling at inflated prices on gunbroker and at gunshows. Its why so manybretailers have moved to a 2 box limit. A similar situation exists with computer graphics cards - between the chinese tarrifs, the ongoing silicon shortage, and bitcoin spiking again, getting ahold of a card that was $250 is now going to cost you a grand in some cases.

G B, These are built on sight, they aren't for sale. If a press is taken out of service it is reduced to parts to be used on other machines. I work at Lake City and maintain the presses.

@@strawberrymochiiz I hear ya. When I first started on the job, many years ago, I thought I could buy an old press they were removing. That's when I found out the were torn down and recycled. It would have been nice to have a press cranking out 600 rounds a minute.
