I’ll admit, I was saying to myself, “what the heck is she doing?” And then the light bulb went on 💡 and I said, “ohhhh that’s ingenious!” You always give such great tips!
This is one of the coolest techniques I've seen lately! I love the look of coloring but do not want to spend the time. This is the perfect hack! Thanks, Jennifer!
I love this make your own stencil technique! I will be making about 100 Christmas cards for the Dementia facility my mom now lives in. So this technique will help me out a great deal. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I always appreciate you sharing your clever talents. 😊💕
Jennifer thank you VERY much for this video. Perfect timing…I stamp w/my mentally retarted sister & always buy the stencils to make it easier for her. Many stamp don’t offer the stencils & the thought of having to cut them out seemed like a big chore to me. Not anymore. She sells her cards for pocket money since she can no longer work @ McD’s. (She crushed her pelvis in a fall @ home & then had cancer surgery & 20 rounds of chemo. She’s also almost 70.) Thank You so very much for breaking this down so easily I truly appreciate it. This video was SO helpful. I have stamps that I like but don't use because the images are time-consuming to color. Jennifer gives the perfect solution! Thank you for showing us this hack!
Thank you Jennifer for your colouring hack video. It helps a lot when you are short on time when you have a little bit of help with time-management. Your cards looked great!!! TFS. 🇨🇦
Genius! You rock! Prayers for a quick recovery from your surgery! I didn’t go through the same surgery, but they had to cut into the part to put a rod through my Humerus bone, that I broke! Had to go through the same recovery and physical therapy! I did awesome and so will you!💞💞💞💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Jennifer, this technique is a REAL TIME SAVER for mass producing cards. Thank You so much for sharing your creativity and your engineer brain !!!! Rest and recuperate from your surgery.
I love this Jennifer!!! I dont mind fussy cutting. I am taking a four hour drive, which I could get them prepared with fussy cutting. Yeah, you are making my drive more torrible. Thanks. I am going to stamp enough, fussy cut and get ready to stencil when I get to the coast . Hugs to you!
This could nearly be headlined "make your own layered stencils" - so worth the effort, I agree 100%! The only issue I have is I don't have time to follow through right now, LOL!
Thank you so much. I would never have thought of creating my own stencils. I love to color but this gives me a quicker option for repetitive production. :)
I love your videos. You have an amazing and creative mind. I can see why engineering didn’t make you happy, but it does help you come up with awesome ways of doing things. Btw, I pray for you often.
Thank you Jennifer 😊 love this idea and hope to stretch the use of some older stamps that didn’t have stencils as I too am not the best at colouring. Hope you are recovering well from surgery
This is the idea that I have been waiting for to help me with my problem of also not being the best at coloring in or using ink and staying within the lines! I have tried my best to stay with the lines and no matter what, I always end up messing up with going outside the lines! This is the perfect solution!!! Thank you so much!!!
I just loved your technique. When you first showed some finished cards, I thought, no way is this going to be easy, but your technique is awesome and can't wait to try it. Thanks for sharing.
I saw your cards and tags on Tim's vlog. I love on this vlog you show how you did so many in such a short amount of time. This is definitely something I'm going to have to try. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas. I love your cards and tags.
Thank you for sharing I tried this for some birthday invitations I was doing and it was so simple and such a time sharing idea! I hate fussy cutting but this is not the same and so very simple. Appreciate you sharing a great idea
I used to teach stamping with Close to My Heart a LONG time ago - - - i had used this technique on a thanksgiving set that I had.... when I saw you start this video, I just started to laugh - totally forgot about doing that.... FANTASTIC!!!!
What a fabulous video. I learned so much. I thought to myself as soon as I get done watching this video I'm going to make those masks. Well, I was getting the cart ahead of the horse since I just ordered the set. Oh my gosh. Too much excitement in being able to order the stamps and dies. It was Christmas before Christmas. Also, I looked for an e-mail address for you but couldn't find one. I just wanted to say that on the video at 24:50 the postage dies are not the Modern Postage dies. I didn't want anyone to order the incorrect dies. Thanks for all your hard work.
This is pure genius! I was literally just wondering how I might mass-produce cute images for Christmas cards without spending an hour per card coloring them with my Copics. I will be using this technique A LOT in the future. Would also be great for mass-producing cute treat bags to hand out at Halloween. Thanks so much for sharing.
