Great addition, but seeing this I wonder, how do you get rid of the paywall after a purchase? I have that condition set on the purchase button, but now that that button is generated by Revenue cat, is the paywall automatically dismissed?
Hey Sean, I’ve been watching the swiftui fundamentals course video because I am trying to create a website similar to your appetizers example. I have been looking through all your other videos, and I am wondering how to set up my own database like you have for that app that is the baseURL. I could really use the help, thanks!
There are a few ways to do it using back end as a service (things like CloudKit, Firebase, etc...). Do to it "properly" that would require backend web development skills (a totally different profession). The example in the Appetizers app is a basic JSON file that I host using Heroku. It's basically a hack to mimic a backend database. I'm not in the world of backend development (again, it's a different profession). In one of my courses (Dub Dub Grub) we use CloudKit to build a backend database. You can check that out if you're interested - seanallen.teachable.com
I have a big problem with revenuecat, pleaseeee guide me and help me, I have made revenuecat paywall and the problem is the paywall is dismissible , what's the point of having a paywall which can be closed and the user can still use the app ? what can I do to not be dismissablee , so either the user pay or can not use the app or part of functionality ? is there anyyyyyy way I can have an actual human with zoom call for helping me to implement the payment method on my app in Apple Store ? please help , please reply
You'd have to set up that logic in the entry point of the app, and display either the paywall or content view depending on whether the user has a subscription :)
