This is one of THE legendary pieces. No matter what club...what city. Who remembers being outside waiting in line...and having a HISSY FIT because they were playing that and you weren't inside!!! Listening to it here, even with earphones, is no match for being in the club with the sound system slamming you upside the head!!

They used to drop this at the tunnel, along with Salsa House, Rock to the Beat, Day in the Life, Just Want Another Chance, etc, etc, etc... The end of the 80s was BANANAS for music in general but especially crazed for dance music.

3 House Music clubs I remember in the early 90's were the SOUND FACTORY, HOUSE NATION, & HOME BASE, all in Manhattan, & the Dancers used to form a Sypher Circle on the Dance Floor, & dudes use to get BUSY !!!!, lol... .. I remember the club HOUSE NATION use to literally go on from 8:00 pm & close like 10:00 am in the morning , lol lol... I swear those were some fun times that can never be duplicated... I was 20 years old in 1992, & partied HARD all through the 90's, lol,, best times of my LIFE :)
right on, bruh Iron Mike. Sound Factory had one of the most massive sound systems I can remember. I frequented the Palladium, The Tunnel, the Underground, Rooftop, LQ and the Copa when it was back on 60th & 5th. I'm talking 85-92. When my son was born in 92, i was done. New priorities. But DAMNED if I didnt have my share of fun!! :)
....wuz still too young to go clubbin' @ this time. But, i def. stayed up all night recordin' hot 97's All nite House Party.... ....it all seemed to have gone underground again until i found a Todd Terry tune on thumbnail...that opened a pandora's boxxx and I've been compilin' ever since...Fast Eddie is def. a preferred choice over the rest...lotsa dancin' and fashion went into this culture's era and i dived into its trance-like euphoria. ...
I've been dj'in events again recently and just went to a spot in Chixago to meet some dj's and they killed it. I've been gettng sets ready for upcoming events. Today this sample came into my dome. I got this record when It first came out when I was in NYC in 1988 & got 2 copies and rocked this so hard people tripped tf out. I remember in NYC Tunnel &.MK dancers were vogueing, Vinylmania record store was selling this record saying it was Chicago house. Fond memories and now I'm about to drop this record on a whole new generation. Let you know how it goes☆☆☆🔥👊🏾
This track never even aged in D.C. It was played at least once every Saturday at Tracks on the small side. But sometimes it was dropped the big side, too, and Mike Mallapit and then Cedric played it most Sundays. Sometimes you'd kiki to this track on one side of the club, then go to the other side to try to calm down and cool off... only to have the D.J. on the other side of the club ALSO drop the track... And then you had to kiki all over again, baby! No choice.
I remember kickin it at Tracks myself. Curious, is that club still open ? I doubt it, and if it was they probably would be playing to a different crowd, but it doesn't hurt to ask. It's been many years ago for me. Also do you remember the address ?

So true,....I still live in the ATL, but the club these days do not spin house music like they use to....Long gone are the the days of The Palace, Traxx, and Club 708.... I would go strictly for the beats.....
I started going out in the VERY last phase of Loretta's....I think that was in 99' or 2000....The kidz these days...shakes my head....don't know what true house music is......

O God this was my song back in the day ! I just needed to get on the dance floor & within 3 minutes I was surrounded by 10 of the hottest guys in the club ! I guess it was the white hair & the tanned skin . Plus they never let a certain group of people into our clubs !!!
