That's bloody quick mate!!! Great trails around there too..Hate those barriers! The minus reading must mean the shunt wiring is back to front, you could try reversing the small wires going into the CA. The motor with the ferrofluid seems to be performing really well 👍

Andy Kirby is right, your shunt wires are the wrong way round but if you have the CA with the external shunt then you have the shunt wired back to front (between the battery and the controller) the minus reading is so you can see how much you have regen back into the battery. I have the BATT-MAN display (I picked this over the CA because you can connect it to your PC and see a graph of your last ride that shows amps, battery voltage and speed) which doesn't show the regen MAH but it does have the external shunt so the current has to flow in the right direction through the shunt for proper operation. I also have the same frame and i love it. My bike is only 7.6kw (lol, only, it was more powerful but for reliability reasons i had to restrict it a little;-)). I live in Scotland right next to Falkland Hill so i have a lot of downhill mountain bike tracks and trails to ride on, also the hills are very steep around here (freewheeling down some can get you up to 50mph+ at places) so i like the fact that i can go up the hills almost as fast as going down them. :-) I've had my Enduro frame for almost 3 years now and the only 2 complaints i have are the frame geometry and the quality of the paint on the frame in places, paint peeling off etc (which I have now fixed). Great to see other Enduro based Ebikes in the UK.

It sounds to me like you have the voltage and amp sense wires backwards. If you hook up a multi meter backwards pos to neg and neg to pos it will still show voltage, but it will show a negative value. Check that and I bet that is what is wrong with the display. I am going to build one with my mountain bike for road use and I will make sure that it will at least do 40mph.

Best thing I've done, i love how quiet it is even though there is loads of power. I used to have Yamaha r6's until my daughter was born, then I wasn't aloud one. Thats why i began the build of this, and it's deff just as fun.

I noticed in the video you twice checked your side plates for high temperatures. Merely checking them will not tell you the temp of the windings, (which is the temp you really want to know,) and if they are boiling then imagine how hot it really is internally. Some ppl use IR thermometers to get a read, but again how to get that important internal reading? Since you have MXUS 3k and a CA it's highly likely that you have an onboard thermistor tucked into the windings to accurately read the internal temp. The CA (v3) when setup to, can both read and display that for you, plus has amazing power throttling capabilities based on the reading that can keep you riding even when approaching your pre-set thermal limit. I've got mine setup (mxus 3k 3t in 17" Holmes MC rim,) to start throttling power at 120°c and not allow it over 135°c but you can do yours however you like.

Hey Dave, What's that tail fender? Is that the Mudhugger? It actually fits on that rear fork? If so, I'm getting one for mine! If not, then which one is that? Looks awesome and I'm sure works much better than what I'm running with on mine right now.

How does it work, when you have a 3kW motor, but you say you run 10kW or 12.6kW? I mean, you cannot overvolt a motor 4x the nominal voltage... the coils would just melt.
