Arriving in Southern Thailand's largest town, we head directly from the airport for a local lunch at Auntie Chuen's rice noodle buffet ('Kanom Jeen'). Surely one of Thailand's best 'fast foods,' and today I want to show you why its both the MOST awesome thing you could eat for lunch when you're here... and the most healthy choice as well!
Southern Thailand is well-known among locals from other regions of Thailand for its beaches, its slower pace of life (to go with the higher temperatures) and of course for its spicy cuisine. I have been hyping all of these things to my wife Li for quite a few months now, in preparation for this trip, and we are so excited to finally be here!
Thank you for choosing to spend some time with us today - we really appreciate it :). Coming straight from the airport (in any city), you know exactly what you want, and how you want it, and today Auntie Cheun did not let us down in the least.
"The third time was the charm," a saying I can use today, because it really did take me 3 times to get here with food still left in the front cabinets. When YOU visit 'Kanomjeen Pa Chuen,' be SURE to arrive on time (don't trust the Google maps times like I did!).
LOCATION:

HOURS:
On Google Maps, you can see the closing time at around 4pm... be careful, this restaurant usually sells out at 1pm, if not sooner. Get here at 10am (which is just after they open) to guarantee yourself a good selection!
