I was born in 2000, I believe I was the last of a generation to experience this, while going through school they slowly got rid of all of the 90s looking stores and now all of the McDonald’s look depressing. I miss my childhood.
Some of it yeah but there’s lots of stuff on here you couldn’t have experienced like the McSalad Shaker because it was gone before you were 2 years old.
@@fadedmemories86 not necessarily. I was born in 94 and can remember everything from 99 on clearly. I wasn’t exposed to everything being so little, but I can definitely remember what life was like back then.
I didn’t grow up in America but the nostalgia is still there for some of these places. Take me back to the Pokemon craze of the late 90s early 2000s please. The good old days.
I remember the Bigfoot pizza too from Pizza Hut back in the 90’s. Giant rectangular pizza. My grandma used to get this every time we came to visit. The things that brought us joy!
Yes, looking at it now you think it's so cheap. You have to remember a lot of people were making minimum wage & it was around $4.25 an hour. What made it "Affordable" & the best time to live is that everything was more comparable in price vs wage. Today it's 10x price vs. wage.
I completely agree, it’s shrinkflation, over the course of decades they get away with scamming us more because little by little doesn’t register upon our radars.
I was overseas with the military in Kuwait in the early 2000s. The McDonald's in Kuwait City had the salad shakers and I use to get them all the time. Can't believe that was over 20 years ago. 🇺🇲
The McDonald's near my house has the play place still but they closed it down ever since covid I used to play there all the time when I was a kid it's sad to see my childhood fade away
god damn the moon mascot for mcdonalds, when I was watching ghostbusters cartoon series. Pokemon and burger king cross over, along with the dragonball z. Mcdonalds pizza.
remember when McDonald's actually had their own brand and marketed their brand towards kids as their only line of toys? just me then? I miss my little fries and shake dinosaurs and the Halloween buckets with the mcnuggets dressed up for Halloween too
Oh! The New Yorker from Pizza Hut was awesome! (Um, I worked there for years when i was a kid & thought the sauce was tasty. Please, good people of New York...let me slide on this one.)
Odd, I loved Darkwing Duck but don't remember the Pizza Hut promo- I do remember the, Johnny Quest one! I was in Santa Barbara visiting the missions- not a single PH in the area. The anxiety I had, nervous that I'd miss out, was palpable. The funny thing about it, I didn't even like Johnny Quest😂
Guk dammmmmm....mcdonaldssss.....you know meeee....yoooo seee meeee walking to advertising pir guk dammmm west galena blvr....west side EEEEEE abandoned locatioooonsssss....😂😂😂😂
Life was better back then I hate everything now it’s all the same boring decor color theme nothing nostalgic about this generation literally made for robots 🤖
In the 90s I used to walk home from high school and there was a Taco Bell and a music store on the way home. I would go get a soda and cinnamon twists and then go to the music store. I would look through the CDs and I would listen to some because they had one of those areas where you could listen to it before you bought it. Sometimes I would save my lunch money so I could buy new music and cigarette’s that were only $2.50.🥲
