Used to remember going with work colleagues after work on a Thursday or Friday night to HSV7 studios on Dorcas St, Sth Melbourne to watch them record Fast Forward several times. Late 80’s/early 90’s. Such fun.
What I don't understand is all this great comedy come out of Melbourne and had since we started television . What it was also the birthplace of the where offended and we hate everything that destroyed our culture as well
Bloody hilarious doing a comedy sketch with a stuffed roo . Imagine all these young vegan types they would have an absolute mental brake down watching this
I'll come on seriously I think 5 hour news programs to build up Australian airtime and endless cooking shows only to be broken up by people trying to be more Australian than Steve Irwin building houses is much better lol
Rent inspection in 3 days.should be weeding. Nuh. Watching FF vids of skippy and laughing my head off.( i never missed a skippy episode growing up) Onya Skip.
As funny as this send-up is, it also reminds me of how pathetic the original show (Skippy the Bush Kangaroo, of course) really was. Fast Forward, on the other hand, rocked. :-)
@UCrzmV4SndXPT_UCUWjj9cjQ Heh heh - I've been called worse, and you don't have to censor yourself around me. Hell, had the acting and writing been better, maybe I would've warmed to it in my youth too, and maybe Garry Pankhurst wouldn't have ended up leaving the acting profession and starting a meat exporting business (including - wait for it - kangaroo meat). :-P
You can fuk off I don't care if I lose my account but you can f*** off the kids in the 70s enjoyed the show we loved it. For fucksake what do kids get to see now Teletubbies no Australian content whatsoever we don't have any programs for kids showing our amazing country or our amazing animals seriously if I ever meet you in the street watch out you have offended me by saying Skippy was a bad show I am so pissed off with you
@@EamonThePhilogynistWalford so I suppose the Teletubbies had professional writers coming in and acting courses grow up mate seriously it was a kids show I suppose you're going to say next that Humphrey bear wasn't believable enough and his dialogue was very poor
@@grahameward7505 unbelievable don't appreciate Skippy that amounts to treason you have no idea how much they show meant to us but you're obviously born after 1990 and think what you've got now is much better
Fast Forward was essential viewing back in its day. Brilliant comedy. Unlike the pure shit we get foisted on us these days. Ahhh... Remember when we were free?
