MafiaboysWorld Thanks alot man. Suspension in the rear is rooted - tyres all round are pretty old - and intake temps were close to 60! Was a horrid night. Couldnt launch it for shit. After those things are rectified we’ll see how we go. 60ft times were like 2.4 - just dismal.
@@dodgeviper89 your car reminds me of a bloke I met almost 10 years ago with a twin turbo awd magna, it looked stock as a rock and did 11's. I had a 96 hilux tray back with an sr20det back then, god I love sleepers haha
Sr20det Piston now that I need to see! I don’t recall anyone with a TT AWD one. I know RPW have a TT FWD one that was doing 11’s....not a majorly modded car at all let alone the 85-95 models
1985 or 1986 VK Holden Commodore. However this has been built to look exactly like a very rare collector car here in Australia, they call it a HDT (Holden Dealer Team) SS Group A and the genuine ones command big bucks these days, $85,000 to $150,000. They ran a Holden 304/308 N/A V8 and a 4 speed H pattern. Theres more mock ups getting around than the genuine article. Similar the the Shelby Cobra 427. However if it is a genuine SS Group A i apologize to the owner as im only going by that 4 second clip. Hope that helps Derek.
@@thevtecnician No problem mate, glad I could help, you should definitely check out the earlier models the VB / VC SS Group C and my personal favourite the absolute sex VH SS GROUP C. Those things are rare as fcuk now days. I reckon it's great to see you guys on the other side of the world with an already hugely impressive local street car scene showing a keen interest in our tiny by comparison locally produced and quick streetcars, street racing scene , street machine culture. Especially when as far as I'm aware you guys only ever saw 3 of our Aussie built cars in total on US soil, our Holden Monaro/Pontiac GTO, Holden Commodore/ChevSS,PontiacG8, Chev Lumina and the almost unrecognisable completely gutted of all its original luxury interior, luxury appointments expensive fittings and anything even resembling luxury Holden's flagship vehicle the Holden Statesman/ Chev Caprice Police Car. I'm always keen to hear how someone from the other side of the globe has heard about us and found their way onto our local 1320 video equivalent Fullboost.com ? Let me guess, was it Summernats? 😂
Haha we have shit loads of those types here in the UK. Flash new BMW, Audi etc and wouldn’t know the right end of a screwdriver! Depends if you like your cars built not bought and here for the fun of it or just post big times. Anyone with enough money can grab a fast car out the showroom, not everyone can build one. Far more respect for the folks building their older cars and way more fun to drive and watch.
