Actually if you just goto Paradise Spring and throw down the same vault mission, just dig the island and the key is ALWAYS there unless a clue is at the island. If a clue is there, dig up the clue, cancel and do voyage again.
I’ve done this roughly 10 times. About an hour each time. Only had one person come by me who was friendly and was just going to sell his loot. Didn’t even see what I was doing.
Just did this for ~3 and a half hours and sold during rush hour. Made 1.6 mil and got me from lvl 78 gold hoarders to lvl 100 on the dot. Ended up selling ab 265 items
Tried it on reaper's and only got little bit above 1 lvl with around 200k worth of loot Do you think reaper's get way more xp from stolen loot (like if I meet someone completely not associated with me who would grind those and then "accidentally" invate them to my crew) or are reaper's harder to lvl up in general cause you can sell anything to them?
Method still works, 6/6/2024. If it's not working, try another server. Additionally, make sure you don't cancel the quest too fast, you'll think it's not on the island when the compass just needs to adjust. Finally, to maximize efficiency of this method, note that you don't need to dig up the bottle completely for skeletons to spawn. Throwing knives are instant kills, and you can kill all 3 before they ever get out of the ground. Additionally, the dig most commonly spawns on the west side of the island with the most land, so park your ship right there for the most efficient grinding! I obtained 300k~ gold in 90 minutes using this method (With just the emissary, and not during gold rush). If you sell during gold rush, you can make some REAL money, and even outside of it, you still can.
Played SoT a couple times many years ago but never got into it that much. Yes its not everytime but i feel like its 75% chance. In some servers that island is infested with creatures 😁 You could try to swap, worked for me (I was alone)
tried it around 15-20 times didnt get a single skeleton.... just the bottle and thats it... patched already? Edit: Hopped servers and went back, skeletons now spawn, so i guess that was the fix! Good luck yall

I try 2 time to have a small island. Then i do it but when I reload the quest, it is never the small island again... (I try 11 times) It is possible that it is because of the server ? Any solutions ?
I tried to dig up gold treasures and a map on the island of "curse water shores", and when I got a piece of the map with a cross marked on it, I sailed to "fetcher's rest" (usually this island fell out) where I dug up the captain's golden key and opened the treasury. I have calculated and I think the difference is not so great when comparing these islands. The only negative thing was the volcano (but the players didn't bother me, it was a huge plus) 🙂
I grinding for like 20mins and was only able to get 20 of them which got me 84k so how did u sell 74 and get 800k bc u sold under 4x what I did yet got 720k more than me
@@ImSanderino do u happen to know of any more exploits for order of souls or merchant bc no matter how long I grind I get like 2 levels and I’m not even lvl 40 in either of them and it doesn’t make sense
@@ImSanderino it works!! Unfortunately got ganked by 2 skele ships, a kraken then a reaper 5 before I could sell... dumped it all in the sea while they chased me for 30 minutes so enjoy picking it all up. Next time won't be so greedy for the skele loot I coulda sold and made 400k I think.
What level did you start from and where did you get to? The difference between levelling up 7 times while below level 50 or above is quite significant.
My plan is to get emmisary grade 5 by the start of gold rush, then dive to a skeleton camp raid, get the reliquary, sell and repeat for the hour. Each prosperous reliquary being worth a bit over 90k with both multipliers, and it only takes me 8 minutes or so to do the raid. I'll tell you how it goes if you're interested.

Just made 325-350k gold off this in like 90 minutes or so (with a grade 5 hoarders emissary) also went from rank 35 to 43, had about 75 vestiges and got 3 ashen chests with some tomes while doing it, needless to say ill probably be doing it all day tomorrow. 💀
@@ImSanderinoyou mentioned gaining 7 levels in an hour, but at what level were your goald hoarders? Level 20 to 27 is very different from level 89 to 96
@cheezebishh4512 all you need to do is to go to seadogs rest, vote a normal vault, make sure the compass doesn't point to the island, then dig, I got about 6 keys in 30ish minutes, the keys should be mermaids hideaway
Just farmed this for an hour and got about 210k, 46 vestiges. The crab monsters kept spawning so it slowed me down a bit, but not bad for a quick haul.
As of today this has been patched, i have been using this the past couple of days and went up 80 levels, however as i got on today and dug the map piece, the skeletons would not spawn, tried multiple servers and doesnt work
not 100% sure but i think they nerfed the spawn rate. i did this at first with a mate and it worked perfect around a week ago, now trying it again but it takes around 6 spawns before we got 1 piece of treasure
Fun fact, try to kill the skeletons in the same area so the treasure drops close together, so you don’t touch it. By not touching the treasure, you don’t unnecessarily raise your emissary level, thereby raising attention to you. You will however gain a small bit of emissary reputation by digging up the map pieces, but it will be very negligible. Once you feel you have enough loot, or see someone coming in the distance, you can harpoon the loot and leave. I will however recommend if you do this treasure farming, to get some container chests for each player. Because turning these in one by one takes forever, even at the sovereigns.
Well i'm not the one to decide, but why would rare make skeletons drop items if we are not allowed to sell them? Its just convenient that every mission starts on one Island? It might get changed and it might not :)
This method isn't as bad as the other ones I have seen. However, professional pirates (with 100s of hours in the game) might use their infinite knowledge to sink you. Or you get people who just like pvp and will sink you for funsies
@@KingBanana5886 I dont jugde anyone from sinking people with loot, after all its the fastest way to get stuff and a big part of the game 😁 just keep it some what professional 😎
Did this on the 15th and it worked. Tried it on the 16th with a friend and the loot still dropped but when we sold it didnt give any gold. Sold about 30 of them and nothing was given for them
Sure the server was stable? Sometimes it dosen't show up before like 15-30 min after selling due to server delay and lag. Cant see why they should take away the full value. If they would have patched it, i guess they would have reduced it or made it so they dont spawn, but pops up in the treasure vault :)
I had the problem, and it worked when i changed server 🤔 Im on vacation for a week but will check and comment when I get back to the PC. I will also Change Title if its patched
forgot the most important part is to dig that bottle twice and pick it up every time until you’re grade 5 to sell at max profit. once your grade five you can dig once get the skeletons to spawn and use a brig with two teammates on the ship voting and canceling fast like when you are grade 5 dig once and have them cancel right after to speed the process up
