Baze 10 calls for an impromptu meeting in the compound to introduce a new business idea he calls "Fast investment".
He tells everyone in the compound the idea is simple as they don't need to work or do anything after investing some money rather just sit and wait for 3 days to get back their money with 85% interest.
The idea sounds good and everyone in the compound seems happy and ready to buy it except for Mark Angel the Caretaker as he quickly rejects the idea and tags Baze 10 as a fraud star who is trying to defraud his tenants and even threatens to report Baze 10 to the Landlord to have him sent out of the compound, but Mr. Azu would not buy the idea and quickly defends Baze 10 by saying that if anyone should be called or seen as a fraud star in the compound, it should be Mark Angel the Caretaker as he has defrauded everyone in the compound many times. Mr. Azu then goes on to remind everyone in the compound of how and when the Caretaker stole the money that was contributed to his mother's funeral and also ran away with the money that was contributed for Mimi's wedding. Also, he points out how Mark Angel loots the compound's electricity bill. He then moves on to encourage everyone to invest in the Baze 10's business idea as he invests N20,000 naira. Other tenants seeing this also decide to invest.
Mark Angel feeling defeated leaves the scene ranting.
Exactly 3 days after the investment everyone got back their money with 85% interest as promised by Baze 10. This makes Mr. Azu and everyone who invested happily and kindled their interest to invest more as Mr. Azu makes a new investment of N100k and promises to spread the news to as many people as possible to also have them benefit from the scheme.
Mark Angel feeling jealous now wants to invest in the scheme, but Mr. Azu would not accept it as he threatens to withdraw his investments if Baze 10 should allow Mark Angel to invest. Baze 10 not wanting to lose his biggest client, Mr. Azu refuses to allow Mark Angel to invest.
3 days later after all the tenants had invested in the scheme and brought many more people to invest, no one has received their money and the 85% interest as promised. Mr. Azu is worried and asks Baze 10 what the problem is and Baze 10 tries to cover up by saying his company is running a system update and would soon pay everyone. More days passed yet no one had received any money. This kindles fear in the minds of everyone who invested and in a bid to get their money back the police is brought in to arrest and question Baze 10 about the people's money. Baze 10 seeing that the battle is above him now confesses to everyone that Mark Angel, the Caretaker was, in fact, the brain behind the whole scheme, but did not want to front himself as he had done many bad things in the past that had tinted his name and would not allow anyone to trust him thus no one in the compound would invest in the scheme. He also says that gave all the money he got from people to the Caretaker and never knew that the scheme was a fraud as he tested it when Mark Angel introduced it to him and it worked. Mark Angel denies Baze 10's claim and blames everyone for trusting Baze 10 and investing their money in the scheme even when he tried to warn them.
The police hearing this places Baze 10 under arrest and drags him out. Everyone now sees Baze 10 has a lier and a criminal and Mark Angel as the innocent one. Mark Angel then innocently travels to out of the country to India, but is he really innocent? Watch to find out and drop your take on the comment section.
