This video showcases how fast a racer can go on a stock Yamaha YZF-R1 with Pirelli Superbike Slicks. Both Riders managed lap times below 2:09 even though the lap was not yet perfect.
The lap was done during the Yamaha Riding Academy event where both riders were instructors. The bike with the Gopro Hero 7 was ridden by former Moto2 rider Robin Mulhauser. The rider in front of him is Marvin Fritz who is currently racing for YART in the Endurance World Championship.
The Riding Academy is a high-level motorcycle school for the race track organized by Yamaha Motor Switzerland. More information is available here:
