A first person tour down Jericho Mountain Bike trail in Silvan Forest, Nelson, New Zealand.

Jericho is a new trail in Silvan forest, starting from the top of the hill and making it's way around 2/3rds of the way down. Full of loose stones and fast sections, with the odd small feature (and one large rock drop) Silvan is suitable for Advanced riders.

Had a look at the boulder today, I have no idea how you make it look this easy in the video. It's one of the most intimidating features I've ever seen. Great riding man!

My approach was just to follow the painted lines and don't think too much about it haha. The feature itself isn't too difficult.

Agreed, It looks like certain death haha. It's actually not too bad to ride if you follow the line painted on the rocks.

Looks like an awesome trail with amazing views! Do you cycle all the way up or is there some kind of shuttle service?

It's great! Definitely has a different character to the rest of the trails in Silvan. Unfortunately it's a long, sweaty pedal all the way to the top, no regular shuttles as far as I know.
