I love this game but it'd be nice with a few weapons. A missile, mine and shield. Not too much to ask for.

Little known fact: F-Zero GX on Gamecube runs at a rocksteady 60FPS. Blazing framerates for the time.

actually nintendo sacrificed the graphics to do that, that's why the game doesn't look as polished (it is polished in the gameplay tho)

F-Zero on the SNES was 60fps too. Sure, sprite animation wasn't 60fps but everything else it was. :)

Lots of NES and SNES games were 60fps too. People think that 60fps is a recent development, when really we just moved away from it somewhat with the advancement of 3D graphics.

Just downloaded the Neo future pack. The extra tracks are awesome and well worth $5. These are the kinds of games that need supported, amidst an industry full of sameness and yearly rereleases and remasters..

+MegaMarc I have played it, not for long though This game honestly plays more like Wipeout. But yes, f-zero was an inspiration, too. They even hired the same announcer, on purpose. They wanted to make a game like this because no one else did. All AAA studios that made futuristic racers are gone or make different stuff now.

II DIRECTx II Yep... the physical version will be launched on September 30th... in Europe. Goddamnit! I thought it's coming to North America as well. :(
