We have come up with a RADIOGRAPHIC INTERPRETATION course material that would help you hone your skills and develop a thorough understanding of Dental Radiographs. The course can be taken up at your own pace and can be referred to, at your will and timing! Here's the Link: caapidsimplified.com/products/ols/products/radiographic-interpretation
Hi, great interpretation! Thanks. I have a question though- do you not think there is some radiopacity in the periapical area of 8? Could this be suggestive of condensing osteitis, given that 8 is grossly carious?
The radio-opacity you see at the periapex of #8 is actually part of the nasal spine. If you go through the anatomical landmarks, you will be able to appreciate it clearly. You could mention that it ‘might’ be condensing osteitis, but you would confirm with another radiograph from a different view. Also, note if the continuity of the lamina dura is broken. In condensing osteitis or any periapical inflammatory lesion due to infection in the tooth, there would be discontinuity of the lamina dura.
Hello, i have an x ray , before rct, where both apex part and extreme bottom part is not coming( of side teeth), confused, can you have a look? Please share email
