@TehColumbusSpartan the fastest “normal” elevator I’ve been on (by “normal”, I mean not in an observation tower where theres an elevator attendant operating the elevator and it’s like, specially programmed to carry large amounts of tourists) is at the Millenium Hilton Hotel in NYC. I don’t know the exact speed, but it’s definitely in the Top 10 fastest elevators in NYC

So have I. The elevators at Trump Tower in Las Vegas travel at 1800 FPM! When your going down, it almost feels like you are free falling! These elevators are still incredibly fast at 1400 FPM!
