Tuso still takes stacks of 50, but to find exact times use dododex. To get black pearls, get a scuba tank, go to rag, and dive around 30 lat 10 lon. There's 3-4 shipwrecks, which all contain black pearls, at the very bottom of the ocean in this area.
Your channel is too underrated, you don't have enough views and subscribers for the great amount of work and love you put in your videos, what are you doing people, help this guy
BEWARE!! in singleplayer, if you swim out of render distance they will despawn, so don't swim too far away, bring extra scuba and a tame you can mount up on and follow it while staying above its swim ceiling so it doesn't attack you, always keeping it in range and rendered, prepare a timer or stopwatch and bring extra turtles (fodder) in case the first one dies OR if it's not ready to feed yet when you get grabbed on the 2nd one and it dies too, and have to try a 3rd time a minute later. As of the taming time changes, in singleplayer with default settings and [max difficulty, and singleplayer checked] a 100 will tame with a single feed, instantly and result in a level 149. A level 105 - 150 will require 2 feedings, therefore for your first tame try to get a 100 to get you started. Due to the continued cost of x50 black pearls per feed, don't bother with anything under 140 after your first squid. Your first squid will make taming plesios and mosas a breeze, you can grab them and swim them up above their swim ceiling, closer to the surface at which point they stop biting and just continue to try to swim down, rendering them passive, and as your squid holds them, it will continue to deal torpor without damage until they become unconscious.
I play on mobile and instant tamed a tuso that was levelled 290! X10 soothing balm is the way to go in hard mode as it makes things WAY too easy. I let him grab onto my Bary. First I go scouting with my Ichy and when I find one I go to herb island and take my bary that lures the tuso into the surface. I know mobile and pc are different - on mobile the tuso will not stop following you until you get onto land, then it’ll continue to lurk near the surface till you let it grab your mount. I’ve tamed 2 so far. Both males, one was levelled 260 and the recent one was 290, again, all of which were instant tames due to soothing balm. If there is anyone here that is reading this and plays mobile, when the tuso sees you, do not stop going to the surface. When you get on the beach, check if it’s behind you. If it’s not, do not, I repeat DO NOT go back where you first saw him bc the chances are he’s very close just out of render distance. Trust me when I say this, once the tuso sees you and you confirm he’s going in your direction, he will not stop. This is on mobile, just a quick reminder. Once he sees you again, swim fast to surface and boom. He will be there waiting for you to tame him. Do some cave runs for the x10 soothing balm bc you only literally need x50 black pearls. Without the soothing balm, it will take longer to tame, think you’d need to do it either 2/3 times.
I got really lucky and found a max level on the island. I tamed it perfectly, but then I came across more than a few alphas on my way to base. It also didn't help that it was my first successful tuso tame and therefore I had no idea how to control it. 😅
I use a frog when taming squid, they follow back faster to avoid a second grab and u can heal them with meat between feedings ;) also taming at a pearl cave makes life easy
there are 2 wrecks on ragnarok at 488,056 that are covered in black pearl shells...you can harvest a heap from both wrecks...and there are also some squiddies around the wreck as well.
A couple of tanking turtles will do this nicely, too. Feed the Teuso a turtle who is on passive/follow,, swim up and feed the squid, chill on the other until your first turtle comes back. If need be, you can heal turtle 1 while you wait to be able to feed the teuso again. Falling off a log easy.
Having a Basilosaur and possible a raft with healing pigs or snowy owl to heal turtle up would be nice too. Basilo is good if something goes wrong, which often does when one is in the water.
Thank you to everyone who has voted in the poll so far. The poll is open until next Tuesday, so make sure you get your vote in before then. ru-vid.comcommunity
I use a basil for my ride with a pair of dunkie or turtles following on passive. Safest seat in the ocean is on the back of a basil. You don't want to get hit by those tentacles. Even a low level will one shot your scuba gear and the Tuso nor anything else that may spawn while you're taming can knock you off.
Ok so, if your mount clips through the world, use a flying tame if near the border, and go the opposite direction or fly into the air(again if near the border) with your tame on follow and it will load in following you before the rocks do. allowing it to clip through the unloaded rocks and follow you when you're in the sky by going under your flier or your current location. For the border and under the world, there is no chance.
He will agro ur mount except argent if you encounter a argy he will agro you if you are low lvl if you are high lvl argy will not agro you he will agro ur mount argy are semi neutral creatures like piglin does
If your rates are good you can easily tame a tuso. All you need is a high level dunkleosteus with a high armor saddle. Pump all of the levels into HP and just get grabbed and tame the tuso. Make sure to have COOKED MEAT with you as it's the beat way to heal a dinosaur without mods. Keep force feeding the dunkleo until you have tamed the tuso. Make sure to not glitch under the map tho
@@nickimargi7739 isn't that a bit low? It does take 50 black pearls each feeding, so.... Let's say you make sure for 10 feedings, qich will be..... 500 😅
Giga taming is pretty straight forward. just tranq him, and feed him extraordinary kibbles. easiest way if to have someone fly an argy, and grab you when you in the sky, so you can keep shooting tranq arrow or tranq dart on the giga
He said to condition the area around the tuso and I watched this vid to help me tame a tuso so instead of conditioning the area around the tuso I tried to tame it already...................My spino ALMOST Died
When i was taming one of these i made it grab my dunkleo and fed it the first pearls and then i look left and i see another tuso but this one was different i t had an orange glow so i thought "oh just another tuso" but i didnt notice the orange glow until it got closer and i thought to myself "oh fuck" and then i died
@The Confessor No one said you had to do nothing while waiting. Build a taming pen, throw the food on the knocked out animal, and go about your business. Or just make/play a server with higher tame rates. It doesn't have to be an issue.
But why so long to tame who has time to sit there for 3 hours or so why does it take so long to tame in this game it's not a mobile game lol annhpur is fine but any longer n it better be worth the wait
You can, but there are a few reasons why I didn't recommend it in my Dunkleosteus video or any of my other aquatic creature videos. For example, the saddle engram for the Tusoteuthis isn't learned until level 91, one of the last saddle engrams learnable in the game. Dunkleosteus saddle, for example, is learned at level 44. Also, the rate at which the torpor is applied is very slow. The Dunkleosteus in particular is a bad matchup for that. It already takes less damage, has a high torpor, and has a fairly high torpor recovery, so you'll end up waiting for 20+ minutes while waiting for the Dunkleosteus to pass out. This is also hugely dependant on the level difference between the two creatures, but even so it takes quite a while. If you don't mind the waiting and have a Tusoteuthis ready to go then it is worthwhile to do.
