I come back to aphmau after a long break from the Minecraft diary and minestreet days and as a fan from even before that with the skydoesminecraft collabs from like 2014; my niece now loves talking about your vids and I’m glad she fell down a similar rabbit hole to me and one with such a killer vibe.

I feel like a lot of us have been coming back here. Aphmau is how I bonded with my first real friends. I miss when I was a kid. It was so hard, but Aphmau was my everything. Watching Diaries and then My Street after school was my favorite thing to do.

i remember i first stumbled across aphmau’s channel when i was like 7? i saw one of her mcd episodes and was immediately hooked. i watched all of the episodes and fell in love with the storytelling and characters. i got into all the other stories too, like mystreet, phoenix drop high, etc. she was a comfort youtuber for me, and will always have a special place in my heart.

I haven’t watched aphmau since 9th grade and I just came by her channel again by chance. I heard the first chord to this song and almost started sobbing. I haven’t heard this song in forever and it reminded me of when I was sitting with my best friend who I haven’t seen in three years. It’s sad and nostalgic, but it also made me so happy to hear this again and think of her!

To everyone who has come back to re-experience their childhoods please take the time to read this: We all know that weird nostalgic tear choking feeling you get when you're watching this video. Perhaps recalling all those summer evenings you had, curled up on your couch-maybe with a friend or two-watching RU-vid videos after dinner. No worries, no regrets. Just pure childhood memories. We all miss those times now that we have deadlines, expectations and responsibilities, but remember that when all that is said and done; in the end we had the chance to make those experiences and memories. Same for present time too, we can still make new memories in the future through experiences and events, so even if you feel like you want to cry or go back in time it's always important to know that those times aren't lost, they're just waiting for you to cross them again.
