11:49 if doesn't fill, click "+" icon next to the "Fill Hole" option and uncheck "fill entire hole". That work for me using unity 2021.3.6f1 and Probuilder Version 5.0.6

thank you for this awesome tutorial i've learned so much about probuilder and polybrush! the volume is a bit messed up but i've found a workaround for it. if you lower the volume in youtube to like %3-%8 and turn the volume up in your system/headphones, it actually sounds fine.

The fill texture option is not working here. Unity 2020.1.3, URP, Polybrush 1.0.2. It has a falloff like the brush option.

At 14:00 you say something about being able to see the room from the outside and to fix the vertices; could you explain that further? Example: Make a house and see it from inside, but also want to see it from the outside. I know it happens with flipped normal.

2 years late. But in case anyone wants to know, one way to do it: duplicate the object, flip the normals on the duplicated object, merge them.

Doesn't the poly shape tool have inner extrude, so that you can make the thickness of the walls?. Or what if you make a square with the poly shape and then make a smaller square with the same tool and then extrude that. Is it possible?. Or even better, If I make such a level in Blender, will I be able to edit the shape in Unity using Pro builder?. Thanks.

Hi Pedro, what I tend to do is highlight the faces (walls) you want to increase the thickness of, duplicate and flip them, and then highlight these new faces before extruding them by the desired amount. When it comes to importing assets into Unity so you can edit them with ProBuilder, you have to 'probuilderize' the assets within Unity, you just do this by clicking on the object whilst the ProBuilder tool window is open and set to 'object selection mode'. You can then find it listed in the window. Hope this helps

Well, the audio is terrible. Aggressive noise cancellation makes that horrible, ear-piercing metallic sound; calibrating this is basic stuff. This tutorial failed in basic ways. Nobody listened to this because it's unlistenable. Pretty simple.

How hard is it to have acceptable production qualities on these videos? Twitch streamers with 0 viewers manage it, but Unity has awful sounding microphones that pick up the keyboard better than the tutors voice and can't even get a sharp recording on the screen.

Both these tools could seriously be improved, they're far behind some of the procedural tools people are making for unreal. Even just painting prefabs is not a great experience right now.

It's in preview now, and some of the features now exist in unity so you may not even need it.

the sounds of the mic is blur and hurt in the ear and the picture is blur it hurt my eyes(in the 1080 quality is blur ) , i like mat mirror fish but unity chose very amateur people
