Well, you gotta blow lots of money if you want to do it fast, if you want to make money while training, its gonna take some time. I mean, you can do high alchemy, spend tons of money but end up with a massive profit, but it will take a long time. You can buy tons of gold bars and craft them into regular amulets and sell them for massive profit, but the xp rate is very low. Having 99 smithing quickly will cost around 60 mill on gold ores, but you can use the gold bars you get and turn them all into amulets to get quite a large profit. If you want to make an even bigger profit, you can use the string amulet spell and have minimal expense while gaining massive xp on 3 seperate skills.
@@Predated2 about 450-500k an hour with gold bracelets and they sell really well right now. 8-10 hours for the bond. I got the free week and did that to get my first bond and now I'm questing to get my skills up
My first 99 was Smithing and I made money doing it. I did mine most of the materials myself, but I always loved mining and smithing, and as a f2p player in 2005-2008, that's how I made all of my money.
@@colbygarcia8766 Oh sorry, no. I wasn't f2p when I got the 99 smithing. I mean I was f2p back in 2005 - 2008 and spent most of my time in the game mining and smithing back then. Then when OSRS came out, I had membership for the first time, and got smithing as my first 99.
@@ShizuruNakatsu ohhh I see.. ok good lol I was a little worried about your sanity. As nostalgic as '05-'08 RS is to me, i was still a little too young to actually be any good at the game lol. I remember killing lvl 3 men at the Wildy-side tavern for hours and hours just to get a fire staff from Zaff for 1500gp
@@colbygarcia8766 I don't think any of us were very good back then, but that was the beauty of it. We did stupid things, we wasted time, we had random fun in the chat, made friends, and went on our own magical adventures. We didn't have to complete every quest, have the best gear, or max exp gains to skill to 99. We just had fun. Back then, RuneScape truly felt like a different world, and I spent as much of my life in that world as I could. I wish I could recapture that magical feeling again now, but now I just do everything "right" instead.
To all the dudes in the comments worried about 120m. That just means you're not ready to have that 99 yet. Go out and do slayer for a while, do herb runs, get that cash flowing, THEN worry about the "buyable skills" (which btw, having 99 in, usually isn't going to help you make that money back, that you've spent to get there.)
@Bowtothehydra I'm still grinding zulrah for pet and it's still 80/120k per kill. Since teleports have doubled in prices, that kinda makes up for shit scales.
When training prayer with the reanimate head option, you didn't account for the runes needed to cast the reanimate spell. With dragons its an additional 2,140 gp per cast, adding almost another 18 mill to the total cost. the total being around 81 mil from 1-99
hahahah dude the first minute of this video was so littt, everyone doing their emote and that beat in the background then smoothly switching off the camera to you... that was some of the coolest editing ive ever seen
It’s total hours played, I am currently only 66 fishing and I need 70 for the Kandarian hards but I know from runelite that my rates at barb fishing are only 500 fish per hour........ so I know 70 fishing will take upwards of 7 hours..... soooo.... I think this is bs lmao
@@xverzetroll9417 i have a 200m bank and i know some people with a 600m bank these are still not viable options with all ur money tied up in gear and potions.. lol
@@s13n7ki11l3r Those are reasonable amounts that people do often. He means not doing unrealistic methods that cost billions but would "technically" be faster
So I have 85m. Im at 94 farming and spending 30m on magic trees to grab my 99 by the end of next week. I’ll have around 50m left. What 99 should I get? Fletch? I have 99 cooking, firemaking, range.
agility is only slow because it sucks to do and no one wants to grind it out. definitely not fast but also not slower than runecrafting, slayer, or mining
Really should include the time to get the cash for the skill. Getting 120M for fletching is an unreasonable amount of time for most players where doing bows till 99 would be much faster
No point to include time to make cash, every player is gonna make different gp/hr. The video is named fastest 99s. He lists the slower more cost efficient training methods also. I don’t understand what more you would need.
guaranteed that half of those are final costs and not production costs, I went for 99 craft not too long ago, spent well over 150m on hides, ended up getting like 120ish back, final cost price = 30m, but the production cost 150.
@@kulisismalls1724 Kulisi Smalls Could you expand on this? I spent 90m on 99 Craft, making air orbs to 88 then Black D'hides to 99. I'd be interested to know how you pulled it off with 30m
@@JoyoSnooze i didn't pull it off with 30m, I spent over 150m on the hides, once I finished and sold all those hides (120m), it cost me 30m (150 to buy supplies, 120 to sell back to ge) turns into a 30m loss.
What is the point of taking the exp rates from something you dont unlock until level 90 for example, and applying that rate to the entire grind grom 1 to 99 like that you showed with the antivenom for herblore? That rate couldnt apply before 90.
@@Schlynn well no not exactly. 90 is like 1.5mil less xp than half way and the xp rates are not that much lower before you hit 90. So even if you re-ran the numbers it would only really change the final time by a few hours. id say rate difference before 90 is only going to be like 20k xp less an hour if that. So its actually a very complicated formula to determine but 50% extra time isnt right lol. if it takes 40 hours to reach 99 using venoms its not going to increase to 60 hours because you used lower tier potions until you go to 90 if thta makes sense. it might take 45 or 50 tops.
thost of you looking to enchant dragonstone bolts, at the time of this comment it cost you essentially loose 1,598 coins per cast(factored in cost of runes and losing 129gp per bolt based on GE pricing) . that means for me to get to ONLY 94 from 78 magic(80k casts) would cost me 127m. i think i will do monkey madness II and burst instead
Where is AHK allowed? Where is your source for that? I can't find anything saying they allow it and if so can you go more into depth on what they allow exactly?
Runelite is a client that is allowed, and all of its added features are ran past jagex first before added. Jagex had them remove a few features before they started collaborating. All runelite plug-ins are 100% safe and non bannable.
so reason for that isnt that its faster. its because buying the materials to do these skills wasnt possible upon game release. the cost would have been insanely high and supply of items would have been very low. So at the beginning gathering skills would be the easiest to do. and thieving is the fastest one compared to the others.
Mousekeys has been made bannable since 2017... You can only use your default mousekeys program for anything that is not remapping a key to any other button, if they find you do anything more, you will get banned very fast, because it's part of the macroing rule which is one of the highest enforced rules in their runescape law.
@@SacredCourt Smithing cape perk is that the cape acts as goldsmith gauntlets which means 1 extra ore per run. Look up Efficient blast furnace gold on youtube by "Thurco". Solo bf at 410k/hr.
All these people complaining about the costs, but when you talk any skill 99 you’re talking end game material. You’re not going to find a “cheap” method for end game skill, only “cheap in relevance to _____.”
I love how you first comment about only doing things which don't waste tons of money then go on to say 130m for 99 fletching >.< not to mention, since when have mouse keys been allowed? Jesus, it's been ages since I've played.
