He was clocked before his surgery at that speed which is when he was in his prime. That is likely the fastest he ever bowled, if that is even accurate as the tech used was ropey compared to today's standards
Don't comment anything 😂😂 , when do you don't know the facts shut up and be quiet, he touched 99 miles an hour in his peak but he was mostly injured after his young days and never bowled with that pace again
For an uneducated ass like you, covert 99mph into kmph and that's approximately 160... He is completely right and fact check yourself before writing any nonsense@@Realcrickshorts5778
Jeff thomson ki jab speed naapi gayi thi tab wo apni poori speed nahee daal paye the unhone usse bhi tez speed me boll dali thi jise to naapa hi nahee gaya tha ❤❤❤❤
In india there was a cricketer named "David Johnson" he used to clock 150+ but he just played one test match for India against Australia and took the wicket of Justin langer. The video is in RU-vid. Rahul Dravid himself confirmed that he used to bowl 150+.
Those worried about his speed can probably use stopwatch and calculate ball release as start time and when it reaches batsman as end time = duration in milliseconds, then how long is crease to crease = distance, finally speed = distance/duration should give us rough estimates of how fast he bowled.
True. Similarly, when you think great batsmen we think of Sachin but when you look back you can see that Jack Hobs was a superior batsman. We are too modern cricket centric
Michael Holding stated: "It is inconceivable that there ever has been or ever will again be another bowler as fast as Thommo." JT was clocked at 100mph (160kph), but that was the average speed over the 22 yards (not radar out of the hand). Therefore more than 170kph out of the hand.
When it comes to akthar or Lee..They are not of fast bowlers.. They are aggressive bowlers..If any batsman hit six for them then they bowl/bounce directly to hit the batsman but not for the stump. This is how they distinguish from other face bowlers & stand unique!
Shoaib Akhtar (Pakistan) - 161.3 km/hr. Known as the 'Rawalpindi Express', Shoaib Akhtar is the fastest bowler in the world of cricket. He had a runup like no other, wherein he often ran from the boundary line and bowled his delivery.
Cricket history me jab most centuries ki baat ati hai to ap ke dimagh me Sachin ka name aye ga lekin ap jab peeche Jaye ge to apko dikhe ga Sachin ka papa JACK HOBBS 🗿
rod marsh , Sunil gavaskar , anshuman gaekwad and Viv Richards said he used to bowl 170-180 kmph but due to no proper instruments , it was not calculated properly those days otherwise he could become the fastest bowler unlike Shoaib akhtar who bowled 145 and due to technical error it came 161.3 kmph
