A drift dive on the west coast is always an eye opener as its 2 knots + and can be a little scary at times when reefs are met or the current funnels you back up to the surface which means you could get into trouble. Although all dives are planned before hand there is still room for error so safety is always at the front of people minds. We looked for flat fish but only a small electric ray was seen but a good time was still had by all. A little bit of footage of a mooring being done at the end also. Stay safe

They are cool mate. Especially the massive ones and hearing them crack with electricity. They normally spin doing back flips when they feel intimidated.

It is a lovely part of the island especially its the evening when the tide is halfway up and you can have a cool swim after a hard day at work. With fish and chips on beach as well or a nice BBQ

Thanks J P, it's interesting to see that spiders will fold their legs in when turned upside down, if they are out of the water, but not if underwater. Nice to see plenty of sandeels about. By the way, I prefer your longer videos and it's not a hardship to watch them. Good luck with the new job, and stay safe mate.

Plenty of sandeels around but sadly no flat fish really. Still had loads of fun looking for them. Thanks for the well wishes and stay safe too 👍🏻👍🏻

I was a water baby, mom put me in as an infant, she said I squirmed like a madman to get free of her arms, I'd flop around the small waves and come up laughing, she said people would come up to her and say, look the baby's in trouble and pop up laughing, for me the ocean is my home, there's something in the primitive part of my brain that feels at home in the ocean.

The ocean certainly is a thing of beauty and wonder and at the same time a thing to fear and be cautions around. I was scared to go out into deeper water and just jump in when I was younger but now I have learnt there is nothing to fear really. Coming from a small island surrounded by the sea It’s hard not to like it I suppose. Sounds like you had the connection and love from a very early age. 👍🏻👍🏻
