Hahah ha I know a guy that used to repair his rust vehicles this way back in the 90's ! Works for alittle while but eventually the foam and puddy works its way loose
What was done here is, the canal or the drainage where the water has to go through to get out of the car is now completely blocked, and the water will start to build up inside and push out the foam while rotting the surrounding metal, and potentially creating a new holes.
Prius has aluminum hood. I have another Prius in next video I will be uploading. It's my first time doing vinyl wrap. Anyway, using magnets to hold vinyl in place while cutting material, I found magnets don't stick to the aluminum parts. Before that I thought they were steel. Between that and all the plastic parts, I didn't get to use the magnets much.
@@raduszilagyi6055i did a similar method with a steel door about one year ago and it still looks as good as it was done. But I guess a car is just another thing as it gets wet more often and needs to withstand more different forces.
The last person who own the car I have did that... When the temp have changed from spring to summer, in a 35 celcius day, it just gonna take expansion and look shitty.
