The farm still works for anyone wondering it is not as good though. Between waves you have to pass time to get new pawns to spawn and they might have different times(I got 55k worth of ripe figs from one). Overall the farm is low risk and is much slower now but still make good money early on.
Some Chad was taking 1 explosive arrows for 99 explosives arrows, I was able to restock without leaving the rift. Got 2 darkening bows worth 10k each and someone else was just giving out 10k gold for an arrow. Made 125,000 in less than 10 minutes worth of work and I wasn't even finding a whole bunch onyx quests only got about 50ish to sell. Another note if you run into a pawn you've already done the quest for when you talk to them it will say completed under what item they are requesting, like this "completed: 1x exploding arrow" etc so you can skip them.
@Turts_McGurts I'm on xbox too. It's easier to sort through the monthly top pawns by quests, it's way quicker than summoning random pawns I wasn't having much luck with that.

You do not have to give any pawn a gift when dismissing. Especially since a lot of low level pawns are Capcom Bots. The second time I did this trick, it seems that I ended up rehiring some pawns and couldn't get the reward. But some rehired pawns still gave me rewards. Maybe there's a refresh timers for the boys, or some where actually from people and they didn't get to manually reset the rewards. To better keep track of pawns I've hired, I started using the gender and type selector and mixed it with the vocation and disposition. So selecting Human Male Fighter who is straightforward. Go through that group. Then switch to Calm, and then switch to another. Do al four. Then Human Female Fighter who is straightforward. Cycle through all four. Then Beastren Male Fighter Straightforward. I did this until I exhausted all combinations of male/female, human/Beastren, and all four inclinations. I think I've accumulated a total of 1.5 mil between the couple of times I've done this. I wanted to make sure I could buy the items from the Volcano Island and have enough gold for enhancing. I think I might buy two of every armor for potential fashions, and buy every ownable residence. You can also get Wakestone Shards by hiring level 1 Pawns who want you to hire them for a day and night. Hire two of them and sit on a bench that usually in or just outside of one of these grand pawn halls. Keep an eye for other results like very, very very rare enhancement items. I got 12 black freakish manes and a few of the last token rewards this way. Check the pawn stone for what the pawns in the rift want you to do and what the rewards are. Also, also ... Often, the game will auto complete your Pawn's pawn quest after a few IRL days. Especially if you don't get hired.
There is a refresh timer for sure since I favorite every pawn that has enemy kill and 10K reward and I uses multiple times the same pawn in few days and they gave me my reward normally I just don't know whats the refresh timer I guess its 24 or something along thous lines.
@@1C3TV Not as long as you'd imagine. A few hours maybe. I filtered by lv1+(one gender&race)+(one class)+(one inclination) and rotated through them changing one filter at a time to avoid duplicate summons. After covering all the Lv1s moved on to Lv2, etc. I viewed the quest from the rift crystal instead of from the overhead Specialization/Quest.
I'm most concerned about if my pawn has been shadow banned since I've been handing out onyx as well. She brought me 47k RC so far, I don't even use it, just like to have it.

@@1C3TV I remember seeing quite a few near the ancient battleground ruins and on that path in Battahl that leads to Medusa's lair and Dragonsbreath tower, but I'm sure there are better places.
@1C3TV one of the paths you can take to get to sand land without using the checkpoint boarder has a campsite near where a chimera spawns in a cave. It's on a cliff next to some broken buildings. The path that leads off the road and to the cave the chimera spawns in usually has crows they're just sometimes a bit hard to see because of the grass but magic archer has the auto aim so that shouldn't be an issue. I recommend telling your pawns to wait before walking up because sometimes they run ahead of you and make the crows fly away. For reference: the specific path I'm talking about in vern. that leads to sand land is the one with the Drake in front of a tall grass area filled with knackers that leads into a cave area with a split path in it. Follow it until you hit a wooden bridge with a campsite by it. That's the one you're looking for. Usually it has bandits or goblins in the area. Clear them out and rest. If you turn around and look at the path that leads through the broken buildings that should be where the chimera is and if you aim with magic archer you'll see the crows along the way
So I think whatever change they made that makes it harder to find these quests mainly affects low level pawns. Filtering with higher level pawns should still work.
Yeah i cant find but 1 or 2 pawns in the rift at lvl 1-5 and neither of them have onyx. Tried multiple different ways even with higher levels and most dont have a quest at all and if they do givr you an item, its a random, useless item
Another good way to find these quests is searching the rift for "unique pawns" and then "top monthly pawns" as it is a list of all the highest rated pawns. Many many of them have these quests and you can summon them from the menu.
I have 2 alternate profiles, so I just set a pawn quest on my alternate, then I hire them and get my precious gems. After I release them I save, then go to my alternate, load at last inn rest, and rinse and repeat. I have tons of gold, all heal elixir, ferry stones, etc.
@@1C3TV He is most likely on PC. I do a similar thing, where I send to my alt account's characters dragon forged weapons and armours, then send them back to my main's account on a backed up save, where I didn't spend the materials and money to upgrade said weapons and armours.
@@1C3TV Create a new user profile for your Xbox, then you can play DD2 with a different mc/play through. Each user profile is treated as an individual user, meaning you can have a different game save with each user profile on your console. At least it works for my series X that way.
I would have got the max but some have set theirs to tigers eye instead, still walked away with a very healthy amount tho keep it up everyone you are all brilliant 👏
I just use the montly pawn section yeah you have to go one at a time but theres a lot more on there plus if they to high a lvl you can usually add people they are pretty cool about it
If only there was something decent to spend it on. The stats on armor seem to change between your pawn and Arisen anyway. I had my Arisen and pawn wearing the same armor, both as warrior with the same upgrades and my arisen's stats were lower
I was spending all my gold of Ferrystones, then I got the the unmoored world and got 21 stones in like 15 minutes 😒 so yeah I feel you. Gold isn't really important once you hit a certain point which is why I feel like this won't get patched.
Doing this on PC 5 days after video and can say it is either everyone and their mom is doing it or it works less than in the video. I Still got 61 onyx and 10k gold a few times. Can say I also went through lvl 1-30 in increments of 5 and this helped me a bit. Also I made sure to also check none quest guides pawns too and got lucky for more onyx.
Thanks for the feedback. From what I'm hearing it varies from time to time how good the farm is. Let me know if you experience anything different at a later date.
You dont have to give gifts if you just press back then yes on the gift screen it says not to give them anything then give a heart to maximise the rc the other player gets
I will say this worked, changed quest, changed the search paramiters, did it all. Didn't get as many arrow quests though. There were a lot of other quests.
Wait does this not work on xbox or something? I keep summoning and it gives me the same ones, I barely had enough for one stack by looking throigh monthly pawn rankings and summinjng the ines with arrow quests there
From my understanding this trick is really dependent on the community as these pawns are from end game players who set their Pawn's to these arrow quests. Regrettably there isn't much of an Xbox community for this game 😬 as far as a workaround, I can only recommend playing through the game as once you get to the unmoored world, gold doesn't really matter anymore and Ferrystones drop everywhere.
Brother i just got 5x allheal elixiers for 1 arrow...i spent thousands of gold to dupe em before this xD quests dont reset and no other pawns appear after changing up the search. Rested in an inn 3 times now and nothing changed (PC)
@@1C3TV nah it actually doesn’t, you get 3 arrows per 1 of each ingredient. If you’re doing it at the start of the game then its slower but even mid game it becomes much quicker
This does not work for me at all. Followed the very simple instructions. When i set pawns for lvl 1-5, i only get 1 pawn and that pawn does not give me a good reward and doesnt accept any arrow. Even if i set the pawn lvl a little higher to give me more than ONE pawn in the rift, i get a bunch of pawns with no quest. Even the few pawns that are there with a quest, they are giving a scrag of beast or 5k coins for defeating a cyclops or giving any random useless item for actually going and doing something, not just giving them an arrow. Has this been patched?
This doesn't work so well anymore. I'm getting same pawns all the time as in first round tough changing filters. First wave only with the max and min levels. Next I'll add ex. kindhearted or and I'm just getting those kindhearted from the first wave I've already hired.
Yep i do this but my pawn isnt level 1. I set my quest as 1 arrow for 12 onyx. I saw a video weeks ago that mentioned this farm so this is not a new farm in any way! Alot of people also do a quest with rings, armour, weapons etc etc as rewards. Its all about helping others out and i honestly think the devs know this too, otherwise it wouldn't make sense to keep the pawn quests in the game. I hope they keep it in as games like lord's of the fallen were patched so much it became slightly annoying. Games are meant to be fun after all
Well, giving gifts to pawns is not mandatory... but when I do, I only gift something decent to pawns that are extremely creative and unique, like a Hulk Hogan warrior or a juicy good looking gilf sorceress. The endless playboy bunnies, either elves or human looking don't impress me. Sadly I rarely see a beastren pawn, male or female, that looks amazing or unique, and the freaking armours and helmets don't help anyone in order to admire what other players came up with.
I agree with you regarding there not being that many unique looking beastren. And like you say.. Then you put a helmet on it and it doesn't really matter anyway, LOL. Personally I started creating a Pawn army of Dwarven warriors. God I've had a blast with that!
I can confirm a couple of things having done this successfully for over 3 million gold on PS5: 1. After the patch, you can store 999 of the stones and the same selling method (sell multiple followed by changing the amount) works to sell it all at once. 2. The Pawns all seem to eventually regenerate their quest for arrows. Many will show you “completed” a quest already, but I have successfully and multiple times seen the same pawn eventually give me the quest to turn in an arrow again. I cannot confirm if IRL time or game time helps to respawn their quest (since this is an online feature we’re using, my assumption is IRL time). 3. Selecting the “Quest Knowledge” option does not seem to do anything in generating Pawns With this quest. I tried numerous permutations of this technique (e.g., filtering by gender, inclination, race, etc.) and consistently never got the arrow quests so long as “Quest Knowledge” was checked. Unchecked, I saw arrow quests frequently. 4. I have only tried the level 1-5 search, nothing above. Will wait until I get to around level 15-20 and try searching for Pawns at that level to see if it generates more opportunities to summon this quest.
You can sell stuff directly from your bank??? Only if also selling from inventory, but still. What a roundabout way. Thanks for the tip. I was really missing the functionality of the shop menus in DDDA. Buy, sell, and equip, for all party members, and at all shops. It was so nice 😂
Yeah I'm really hoping they eventually do a update that allows us to sell directly from the stash. Seems weird to have the ability but only when selling the same item from inventory
@joseyfigueroa9182 if you're online, and in a major city, I don't know of any reason this wouldn't work. I just tested it again this morning and it worked like a charm. Try completely closing out of the game and rebooting. Let me know if that works. I'm curious 🤔
This will spoil the whole adventure, If this is your first playthrough I would not recommend it. Altogether, ive done it myself as a completionist. And it left me with a hollow feeling. Lucky people dont give Wyrmslife Crystals in exchange for arrows.
Honestly, if armor actually made a difference, I would agree with you because having to save up for better armor would make the experience better. But honestly the only reason I was lacking for gold was the Ferrystones.
OK...i know I shouldnt be greedy BUT I have done this once a day since my last comment 5 days ago, with the onyx stones in Vermouth & the jasper stones selling Bakkatahl, i'm close to 6million in gold...🤫
Trying on Xbox and only about 6 pawns total have onyx. 1 pawn has fell lord bones and another 2 have 10,000$ bows. Let me know if anyone has better luck and what they did to get it
This doesn't seem to be a thing anymore. I have left the filters alone and slowly changed one at a time between levels 1 and 5. I have even tried widening to level 10 but after doing this for about 30 minutes, I was only able to get 72 Onyx. Now I only get the already completed quest pawns or pawns with no quests at all.
Been trying this method, there aren't very many pawns in xbox with this quests and we've i try to re hire the same lawn it won't let me re do the quests
After giving a few hundred onyx to pawns before dismissing them, I check my storage to find 99 onyx. Wasting 20 minutes of my time. This video gave me the impression I could hold more in storage. Ps5
I could only get maybe 70+ Onyx like this.. Started meeting a lot of the same ones pretty quickly. I guess the more quests you have available the better. I'm pretty close to ending the game and cleared a lot of quests. 😅
Ive seen these for weeks- i just run into them or they are high approval in advanced search. I just figured its pc players using mods and sharing the wealth. I only do one or two every few days.
Have you ever caught dragons plague that way? And can you always give a thumbs up rating when dismissing? My guess would be that the thumbs are the reason why they offer this deal.
I've never had the pleasure of Dragon's Plague and this doesn't seem to cause it at all. Yes you can always give the thumbs up or heart rating when dismissing.
You can get dragons plague but very unlikely, if you're worried about it just dismiss all pawns before leaving the rift and yeet your main pawn into the brine 👍
I thought you had no other choice also, then to gift a pawn when dismissing. But if u just back out of the menu, it'll ask u if u want to dismiss gift. Yes, then goes to the heart/ thumbs up screen. So, circle on ps5. Ec....

So it “works” but not as good as it was in your video lol they definitely fixed it. I was able to only find 2 hired pawns with the onyx to be gifted for an arrow even with filtering ect the same pawns i used before kept popping up even sleeping for 2 days didnt change anything. There was one that gave me 10k gold for an arrow but maybe ill just try it at a bunch of different riftstones and stack up the 12 til its at 99 slowly. Great video though wish i caught it sooner 💯
Yeah either they fixed it or it has something to do with the Xbox servers 🤔 oh well. Honestly once you get to the unmoored world gold doesn't even matter anymore
