You can see this kind of stuff easier in real life since the screen isn't high enough resolution. It's just a couple of pixels.

The video compression makes it "invisible"... it is too small ond too fast to be recognized as the object of interest. That's why it seems to appear out of nowhere sometimes ;)

Opus MCT (t-tail version) of the glider in the video current DS record is 342MPH which is faster than this using just the wind. www.rcspeeds.com. World record glider DS speed is 505MPH.

Unfortunately it's not a glider. It's a rocket-powered airplane. The fastest glider (no engine of any kind) was timed at 519mph. That's over 800kph. Nearly twice as fast as this one is.

+Jay Anderson It has never been a glider in the first place... Those models are called Pylons, and made to go really fast around a competitive course. The airfoil is completely different from gliders - as well as the general construction of the fuselage.
