Sniping is fun in XDefiant that's for sure, it's viable in comp too imo. I think ranked and competitive usually ban out snipers though

Don't run the fire rate stuff it makes no difference due to its base rpm. Switch barrel for lightweight and mag instead of muzzle for faster reload

@@dragz Nah, I can see some sort of nerf. It's very easy to use, basically no flinch and all, but legs and arms are 1 shot. Also, it becomes very snappy once you've got some ADS attachments.

@@truebacon133 I don't think it will get nerfed. It's way too slow in more than one way (same reasons why people don't use the M249, despite it being stronger than any AR once you're aiming at your target), and it's only "strong" when you have aim assist (which is only possible with a controller), not because of the fact that this game has way too many ways to deal with snipers, but because with a mouse and keyboard t's not easy to your shots at semi-close or close target with a 12x scope. You should be using the 4x-8x scope for that, which obviously has it's downsides. You don't get a weapon that is too op at both very long and very short range. There is a reason why almost no one is using it with mouse and keyboard. The true "strong sniper" is the M44, but I don't think it's "too strong" or anything. A weapon that can use a buff is de RPK. Weapons that can use a nerf are the ACR and the MP7. Snipers just need a small adjusment because anyone using a controller can play at the level of a high skilled mouse and keyboard player.

@@joseijosei it is only slow in fire rate (once you have attachments) and the difference between that and the mosin nagant is not very much. Level it up a bit and you have a quick scope machine that can 1 shot at any range as long as you avoid the arm or leg. Due to all it has going for it it essentially makes the mosin nagant useless by comparison once levelled. Why take a sniper that can only kill with an upper body shot or headshot if its a phantom when you can use one that can 1 shot any class as long as you don't hit the leg or arm Even with the damage bonus the mosin nagant still can't upper body a phantom or 1 body the others Is it faster than mosin nagant when it also has speed attachments obviously not due to its base being faster but still becomes very fast.

You would have to describe the benefits of that to me I'm not able to look at it right now sorry. I'm sure I have a reason
