I don't have words to describe these super fast bullet trains but I do remember these beautiful lines when I was a kid--"when you travel by the raiways and the line goes up a hill it (engine) sings this little song I think I can,I think I can and so it goes along."Those were the beautiful days of journeys by trains pulled by steam engines.Any ways train journeys always fascinate me.It was a very nice vlog.Keep it up.

There are no thieves in China because we pay by mobile phone. If you're doing bad things, the police can quickly find out, because cameras are everywhere on Chinese streets. but BBC said thats not human right, its funny. if you are clean why you afraid the cameras?

@chinese6049 4 года назад
@@ligangwang9860 Wrong, there are thieves in China! It's just that thieves are very, very rare. Things that are extinct like pandas may only be heard once every two or three years. Some people haven't even heard of thieves like this for ten years! There are a lot of cameras in China, but that's a big city. Small cities have very rare cameras. Only traffic lights! There are no cameras in rural areas! But the thief still disappears, people are rich, and stealing is no longer there! Even if your phone is dropped, some people are too lazy to pick it up, Not to mention stealing! Our human rights are very good, except for criticizing the government for deleting online reviews, you will not be punished! The western media's propaganda that the Chinese cannot criticize the government is totally wrong! Every day in China, a large number of people criticize the government on each site, and even many media and public figures cannot be apologized publicly because of too much criticism! The government will heed the opinions of some people! China is no different from the West. Many countries in the West are more closed than China. not free! Maybe you don't believe me! For example, in the United States you cannot drink before the age of 21, China can! You can't dry clothes on the balcony, China can! You can't quarrel with the police in the US, you can fight in China! There is no universal insurance in the United States, China does! Claimed to be free speech in the United States, someone was recently fired for criticizing the government! Criticizing the government in China does not happen! But if you rebel, you will be locked up! The same goes for other countries! In addition, I want to say that Xinjiang and Tibet are now very developed and look more modern than cities in some western countries, although the per capita GDP is lower than that of western countries.

Hong Kong is also a city in China that attracted a lot of tourists in the past, but there have been too many violent protests in Hong Kong recently. Tourists are not recommended to stay in Hong Kong. I personally recommend transiting through Hong Kong to Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Guangzhou (cities in Guangdong province). There is a high-speed railway. Tourists can travel from Hong Kong International Airport to Kowloon Station by Airport Express (this is a fast train but not the high-speed railway the media refers to), and then walk along a covered footbridge with good signage to the Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, which is the high-speed railway station. There are always sufficient seats on high-speed railway trains, so there is no need to reserve in advance. I recommend travelling by High Speed Rail to Futian Station which is in the CBD of Shenzhen.

from this month, China has started to use E-ticket in all stations, so now you don't need to print your tickets from counter anymore! After you booked your tickets, you will receive an QR code, use this QR code and your passport to print a receipt from the machine directly and by yourself! Then when you get into the check-in gate, there's a new machine besides the normal check-in machine, use that machine to scan your passport directly then you can go! 😁

I always took high-speed trains when I was in China. At some points, the high-speed train is even faster than taking the planes between some cities and areas in China. My country has already completed the 4x4 mainlines high-speed train networks connection most of the major cities in China. Once the 8x8 mainlines high-speed train networks have all been constructed, the travels and commutes will be more convenient and faster between any cities that the populations are more than 200,000 in China. By the way, welcome to China! your video is awesome, as your reporting style! lol!
@SallyAndEd
@SallyAndEd 4 года назад
You're spot on. It's much quicker to get the train between quite a few places. Especially when you take into account travel time to and from the airport and the time you spend at the airport checking in, going through security and waiting to board.
@ws5991
@ws5991 4 года назад
@@SallyAndEd yes, ture. If the time you wasted at the airport would be added to the actual travel time for high-speed railway, which will give us hundreds of miles more than airlines.

Hello, everyone! I am an ordinary Chinese citizen. Here are some Suggestions for you to take China railway. 1. Please wear noise-canceling headphones and your charger, as it is hard to avoid the sound of crying children. 2. If you need to eat in the car, you are advised to buy the products and drinks in advance at the "familymart" or "starbucks" of the station. The products on the train are limited and not necessarily to the taste of foreigners. If you like Chinese food, here you are recommended to choose the two brands of “真功夫”,“永和大王”relatively stable, and the price is relatively cheap! If you are proficient in Chinese software and can speak Chinese, you can use the software to order food online and have it delivered to your seat! (this is the most convenient and in most cases cheaper)3. Bring a coin! The local car speeds up and, when running properly, challenges a coin to test the train's ride stability! Personally, I think it is very interesting and well worth the experiment! 4. If you book through the official software, please remember to spare some time to bring your passport to the window to pick up the ticket! If it is through a third party, please be sure to consult your booking company! Avoid delaying your schedule! Chinese people sincerely welcome friendly foreign friends who love China!

Ppl, be really careful with how you write down your full name in China, it can be a pain in the ass, specially if you're buying tickets online. Write it down exactly as shown in your passport, don't play around with middle and last names. If your name is long and does not fit in a field (yes, it happens), just send it trimmed anyway.

Few people (not even the Chinese) would consider this as "booking". Only Chinese citizens can "book" in the usual sense of the word.

@@PaddyMan1988 US doesnt have a decent, normal train much less a bullet train. I'm furious because they've recently decided to discontinue the train that goes by our town. It really feels like public transportation is developing backwards.
@germsspices
@germsspices 4 года назад
@Leo Liang Well yes, but it's also because the car culture here suffocates any alternative means of transport. Public transportation is generally regarded as travel for the poor.
