Best class in game as it's balanced and doesn't have stupid hsw cars. EDIT: also tuner races are quite unique and fun itself compared to regular plain races
i thought hsw upgrades are 'stupid' because i'm just jealous cuz im stuck on 8th gen, but after further thoughts i realized - yeah, those are stupid as hell, do not make sense at all while given to new cars
@@wici4572 the recent speed glitch proved to me that absolutely ALL cars should have HSW upgrades because they all become immensely fun if they go the speeds they're supposed to go, specially the sports cars and supercars, and even most of the muscle cars. Without that glitch, the game is back to being a snooze fest to me.
Tuners is like my favorite DLC ever. Everything about it. And that Calico is my absolute Bae. Even though the Sultan is better I have more confidence and skill with the Calico because I learned how to drive it first.
@@pulyps20sf omg. I know. I can still hear the Rev limiter going insane. I like to tap the handbrake real fast while hitting a bump. I always feel it does something. I swear I've heard the Rev act like it used to atleast once while I was driving it during the double (or 4x) tuner event.
Tuners such a nice class to race, either all or without the top 4/5 cars. Mid-tier sports cars have always been among the most enjoyable to race. Tuners makes a selection of those more accessible. Or if you use the old tier B (now spread over tiers A-C) you get a few nice muscle, sedan & coupe cars thrown in for good measure.
I too wouldn't want the class to get too bloated. But I think the Auto Shop DLC was one of the best and I did hope for continued content. If not new cars, I would like to see some existing cars added to the class for racing such as the Elegy Retro or Jester Classic, ones that make sense of course. Tuners on the whole seem forgotten about; I gave up trying to win prize rides because I can hardly find a race lobby to compete in anymore.
I found your channel through one of your subscribers that posted the song forever young by Alphaville 15 years ago and they joined youtube 19 years ago, that's crazy they must have kids now
Oh my god you don't know how much I was looking for a video like this, I'm relatively new to GTA and like to race a lot at the LSCM and I'm in the top 7000 using the Calico and one of this days I was in a race with impressive racers like they were in top 1000 of the lap ranking and all of them where using the Vectre, so I was wondering if the Calico was not performing at its best? Like why all of this guys where using the same car, the Vectre? And I understand as you said Vectre and the Sultan have those features that's make it perform better in a more complete context, for example when rubbing some corners and better stability, although the Calico has that acceleration and speed top lacks that stability, here is when I think racers get used to a type of characteristics of those cars and take advantage of them, I usually lose speed with the Calico, because it is not very stable, I'm still not that neat and I can't always make clean and consistent laps maybe I will try now with these vehicles less acceleration but with more stability to achieve that, the funny thing is that the guy who was winning all the races changed the Vectre to Sultan RS and that's when he lost the races, possibly it was a circumstantial situation or you must select the vehicle depending on the track and how to better adapt the characteristics of this one, great video btw
Well the sultan rs is best overall but actually most of the class is pretty nice to drive. The zr350 is a challenge, looks great and sounds pretty cool. The s2 is really tail happy and pretty fast. The cypher and Remus are both just really nice to drive as well as looking really cool with customisation. The only ones I didn't buy are the warrener and vectre
I want a 2020 Mercedes C63AMG that can be converted into 2012 C63AMG black seriesin Benny"s,, both can be fitted with widebodies, they could be cool aditions to tuner cars, also a 2002 BMW M3 GTR
I'm liking how a number of classes have 4-5 cars in the S Tier unlike Supers and Sports which only have HSW cars at the top and even though this DLC brought in 12 new Sports cars to an already large Sports class, it's nice to see that 4 of them make up the top tier for Tuners races with 2 being good on the corners and 2 being good for top speed. Nice to finally see this video though after seeing DLC vehicles being released every week since the launch of the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC. Speaking of which, now that all the DLC vehicles have been released, will the next class video be out next Thursday or will it stick to the 2-week (or 3-week) gap between them like the rest of the videos in the series? And if there are any vehicles you may need for your testing, I think I have a few that have been removed from the websites, not 100% sure how many though.
New testing video every week for the next two weeks until I go on holiday, then aiming for the old normal once every two week schedule when I get back, assuming the testing for those classes doesn’t take too long
@@broughy1322 Nice, wasn't sure how that would work out since the release of the Vorschlaghammer last week kinda pushed this video back a week and the Vans and especially the Open Wheel classes are relatively smaller (unless all 3 setups are being tested again).
Hey Broughy1322, how do you deal with the Sultan RS Classic's over steer? I noticed the Sultan Classic (4-door) has much better control vs its coupe brother
The Vectre is the best for tuners/ street races as, with its 8 gears, brake boosting makes it as fast as the calico and growler in a straight but has more grip. (Remember these have the handling flag which stops you from going faster once maxing out the gears)
The Sultan RS, was my favourite but I get more consistent lap times with the Growler, Calico, Emperor. Do you use sports suspension for the Sultan? that seemed to work best for me.
I would consider the analysis of the best car overall on top of Broughy's outstanding work, but considering Sessanta's heists, where you MUST pick a Tuner Car or ride using her own Tailgater S.
I believe the Jester RR with rear louvres, which make it bulletproof from the rear (this doesn't apply to all cars with louvres, just the Jester RR because of weird hitbox shenanigans) is the go-to pick for the Auto Shop heists. Some cars have big spoilers that can offer some protection from behind but the RR is the only one where the rear window can be completely covered
Vans, open wheel, off-road, utility, industrial, commercial, service, emergency, military. Motorcycles is very unlikely, cycles is a maybe, boats, helicopters, planes are 99% not going to happen again. We’re basically only half way through.
I believe it was said during the first tuner video that the bottom option, well, bottoms out. And that makes the car very annoying to drive, leading to worse laptimes.
@@DustyKnackers regular comet s2 has the broken spoiler mechanic which doesn't give the car the traction bonus when is raised, on the other hand s2 cabrio spoiler works as intended
Don't know how you get consistent with the Sultan RS Classic, Growler, Euros & Comet S2 they all react very poorly to the bumps during turns... I'll always take the Vectre, Calico GTF, Jester RR & Cypher over those in their respective tiers.
Can’t say the same for the rest cuz I don’t race with them but the sultan RS Classic is one of those cars you have to teach yourself how to drive cuz its super sensitive, much like the Turismo Classic, and eventually after enough practice you can lay down some good laps and dominate races
its reductant because all cars are stock in those races and their performances around a track and down a straight is irrelevant for how points are scored in Drift Races
Ok, chalico is pretty fast, but it also is like giant heavy log on wheels. This thing barely turns, I would rather pick my jesterRR because it feels much more stable than chalico
Lowered stance would make them much worse around corners, some of them gets a boost in top speed(like the Comet s2 coupe), but the hit they take on their handling is just too much to make it not worth the while. But using the stanced suspension is a good strategy for drag races.
Everything about this video is wrong and shows you how lazy R☆ have become. Tuner class that races together having to be tested and put in teirs. Why? They should all be balanced so they can race each other. Literally in the same class but can't race each other. This goes for all classes. It's Insane. If this was intentional then teir system should have been made so the F in this class can race say a B from coupes or muscle. Great info video as always. Just shouldn't need to do this. Also they give lower options for upgrades like engine level, but why would you use them unless you could custom build for a teir. Ridiculous system tbh.
@Johnny362000 then why have classes? Why push the multiple races, race creator, tuners and Bennys dlcs? Rubbish! RP devs test and balance their cars. It's all of you so far up R☆ rear end, they get away with everything.
@@garethshaw1645 I have seen RP server handling and I have never been more glad those people aren't employed at Rockstar. And again on the classes, have you played any racing games? Have you seen how broken the classes in NFS Carbon and Undercover (which are EXPLICITLY performance-based) are?
and completely retest all 800 vehicles in the game? good luck with that CCGP is a balanced track with the whole point showcasing every part to a cars performance as fairly as possible, sure there are other tracks that do the same and may be better, but this is the one he settled on :D
@@StarmenRock sorry he didnt have the foresight to predict which cars would be part of the summer DLC i guess, and such videos are always classified as "updates to their respective testing videos" and "more details can be found on gtacars.net" but sure he's worse than gta online
