Hoping people see this, if you do Old Mystery (Hard) for the Heat Plasma Battery, there is a spot early on in the mission where you need to destroy the kuiper shards by standing in the blue circles. Don't rush all 6! Do 5 and let the timer run down, Yellow enemies spawn (aprox. 4) you can get the batteries and then leave. Takes a total of 7-ish minutes! Super fast and easy honestly.
I think the main reason for the player count dropping is because of drop rates. Not everyone is able to spend time grinding for a 3% chance for the blueprint to drop. I love this game but I'm getting bored with grinding.
I think you're close to correct, but I think it isn't them being low drop rate but inconsistent so it feels like specifically you are struggling while your friends are not. Which ruins the fun more than knowing its going to be a chore to get something.
This helped a lot thanks, but gor encrypted vaults if you hold down on the right joystick it will ping and make a noise if you're looking in the right direction of a vault. Also if you're in the middle of a mission and you hold down options there will be a option to abort the current mission. Just some tips to make farming these easier, but great video!
this video help alot farming the materias, the problem is you only have a 3% chance of getting the activator I try about 10 times and it gives me the iten with the hight chance..
Best guide by far on collecting the 4 consumable parts, thanks so much for posting this. Still grinding those darn blueprints and the RNG gods have not been smiling upon me, one day though. Keep up the great work man 🤙🏽
Not easy I've done 47 hard mode bosses and opened amorphous for energy activator blueprint, still 0, its ridiculous, having such an integral part of power being such a low drop chance, warframe they drop all the time and easy to craft, its a non issue, $1.5 in the store, $25 in first desendent, insane.
It's interesting that something that every Descendant and every weapon needs to use is one of the most difficult or time consuming items to get. Making advancement a PITA... Interesting that they'd make it this way intentionally
You are given 2 off the bat for hitting level 40 so you could argue new game they want you to grind a single character more and learn it rather than just run through each character as fast as possible.
My Biggest problem is the vaults I struggle with the encrypted vaults, and finding the Items I need to open the vaults. It makes it a struggle when wanting to upgrade your modules, and Mod Capacity because you don't have the parts.
Keep in mind, 20% chance doesn't mean 5 runs and you 100% will get the item, it means every time you do the quest/dungeon/event etc you have a 20% chance. Which means you could actually never get what you want.
My issue with this game, besides the unreliable drop rates, is the fact that you have to farm a different material with a 25% drop rate, just so you can have 3 or 6% chance to get what you actually want, this is one feature this game shouldn't have copied from warframe, also unlike warframe everyone besides bunny is so slow, easy fix for this would be unlimited grappling and remove player to player collisions, it just doesn't add to anything besides being a nuisance
Multi manoeuvering is my go to for mobility it gives 3 uses + mod space people will say air Manoeuvering idk what I tried in lab and the triple one dubble/tripple your distance
The problem is not the resources for it. The bp is the problem for it. Ive gotten 1 to drop since i been playing the game i have all the regular characters and 1 ultimate many different guns at 40 and have farmed countless colossus and void bosses for the bp.
@@itsjustrevo Oh no, I have to grind a lot in a live service looter shooter game lmao! This grind is nothing compared to MMOs and other grindy games. TFD is not even a punishable grind, it's pretty fair.
@@hunt7533 Well over 130 runs on grave walker and I still haven't seen a single energy activator. I play FF14 and nothing in that game is as ret***ed to get as this. I want something in that game I go spend around 2 hours grinding for it. In Warframe the equivalent item drops like candy and costs $1.50 Here it's $25 and near impossible to drop. I seriously feel sorry for you if you think this greedy moronic crap is "fair".
@@VaultArchive72 Well that's a personal problem, why tf will you farm the 3%? You can try 6%-10% with the Shape at Hardmode which is quick to get those Amps with Sharen thanks to the blessing of the 1 minute cooldown with the outposts. I have 23 Energy Activator Blueprints because of farming for other specific things in Hardmode. This game is really fair with the grind compared to many other games that I grinded in which took weeks to months to get 1 damn thing, even got time gated which is terrible. It took my friend almost 1 year to finally get a God Roll world weapon drop in D2 and you're complaining about this grind lmao, you're ripping your hair doing the 3% chance which is the worst thing to grind. Btw Warframe was terrible for the first few years my guy, why is everyone comparing a 10 year old game that even had lootboxes to a game that was recently released? Warframe haves so much monetization yet it's ok because it's Warframe lmao, silly logic. I also play Warframe and honestly TFD did a great job compared to Warframe that took 10 years to be amazing now.
170+ hours in this game and I have never seen an energy activator drop from the appropriate amorphous mats. Used the free 2 on my descendant and thundercage. Been playing one single descendant all this time because of the ret***ed drop rates. Grave walker is the easiest and fastest to spam once you hit 40 and get decently geared but that 3% drop rate might as well be zero. 3% chance and 25$ for something that drops like candy in WF and costs around 1$ and is integral to gearing your character and making any progress. Dumbest BS in any game I've ever played.
Did you put it on PRIVATE instead of PUBLIC before you entered the zone? You cannot expect them to be spawned if you are in a public server, as other people would've opened them etc. You do need to know which code breaker/analyzers you have because some work in normal some in hard mode.
Drop rates seem rigged. Almost like it knows what you want so you don't get it. Just to keep you playing and chasing after it. I've gotten items with 6% chance but I can't get a python blueprint with 32% chance to drop! Honestl, the game seems rigged! Just my experience and opinion. Hope I'm wrong, because the game is a lot of fun to play!
Maybe they already set the algorithm that we already collect other materials 20 run and still no 3% blueprint, next time I'm just gonna farm the blueprint first.
Thank you for the video, however this game is not worth the grind what so ever. For those of you who are having fun with that god bless your heart, with a 3 minute grind, and 3% drop rate on just one blueprint, I have far better things to do with my life
Not sure I get your point here, do you like playing games or do you like watching movies? If you watch a movie you can get the story w/ no effort and see the hero peak. If you like games the entire point is to play them, so unlocking anything and everything quickly would be pointless and boring.
@@PWNHUB I love tons of games, and games with grinds! This games grind is more 2d and boring as all get out and also for a skill ceiling that is pretty sad compared to a lot of other looter shooters. To each their own I appreciate your videos' advice just sharing on the community that a game like this isn't gonna last long
@@cnqrknightyt9892The drop rates are fair though, people clearly never played other live service games with the grinding as the main point. You always have a chance to get the drop unlike other games that haves weapons or items that are time gated with a chance. In Destiny 2, you have 3 chances to get the exotic weapon in a dungeon IF you have 3 characters built, if you failed then you have to wait a week and repeat for weeks to months, that's one of the many grind feast things to do in D2. In a MMO called ESO, you have to do a daily for 20 days straight just to get a random style page drop from PvP which means if you want to get a certain style page from 10+, good luck. There's many other games I can talk about that haves so much tedious stuff that are time gated, TFD is so free and awesome to grind because we can get what we want when we want it.
This is exactly my point, the grind is continuous and not gated by daily and weekly resets. There is literally no point in having a max power character instantly. I played World of Warcraft long enough to have an insane amount of YEARS played in actual game time played and I can promise you nothing in First Descendant is even half a grind as WoW.
