Fastest Way to Level Up (Hogwarts Legacy)

I already hit lVL 17 before discovering the Dark arts arena or even unlocking broom,Pets, room of requirements etc. I think levelling up is fairly easy in this game without even doing this. All i did was solved puzzeles and collected field guide pages. I play on Normal.

The XP is for killing enemies to complete your Combat section in the guidebook. As soon as you have killed enough of the enemies you won't get XP any longer. This also means that when you encounter the enemies later in the game, they will no longer grant you experience points. So it is kind of a waste of time to grind there.

This does work and you can complete a lot of challenges (or whatever they are called) at the same time. I went from something like level 13 to 19 and there does not seem to be a limit. However once I was at 19 I noticed it was taking at least 3 times to go up a single level so I guess the higher you go the less you earn towards levelling up. But as I was constantly running into level 20-ish enemies when free roaming, this helped immensely with not being out-levelled!

It caps as soon as you finished all the combat challenges and enemy Typ challenges. I was lvl 32 when i finished my last enemy challenge and now i DON‘T gain ANY exp from enemies, no matter if i kill a random wizard, a troll or even a boss no exp gain… As i’m now done with all guide pages, combat challenges, beast capture challenges, merlin challenges, etc im struggling to lvl up further… i have a few balloons, landing spots and ancient magic ones left but all of them will be just 1more lvl so i guess my last few lvl for 34 to 40 i need to do with missions… pretty stupid design of the developers to only give exp for challenges in my opinion.

if your someone who likes to complete everything i would just farm the scrolls around hogwarts instead of doing this because it also gives you alot of xp but if you really dont care about that then this is for you.

This works at the beginning but you cannot hit 40 this way. XP only comes from completing the game’s challenges some of which are being completed by doing what this video shows. But hitting 40 involves completing every side mission and main story mission as well as a lot of challenges that take place in the open world.

Sooooooo I’m level 10, just got my broom stick and trying to become a dark wizard, any tips from you higher level players? I’m fairly new to Hogwarts Legacy but I’m catching onto the combat pretty quickly

It literally takes all challenges to get to level 40. You only get levels for each challenge. Nothing else. The reason this gets xp is cause he’s yet to have killed all the enemies per each challenge (dark wizards combat etc)

is this the same with the dark arts battle arena or does the dark one not give xp or smt

I didn't do more than three of these trials and I'm on 35 level and I'm on mission where that goblin logkok or something dies

Funny how every one say its the best exp farm... Its not if you do it again and again. You dont get exp after the first time.

You could also just do side quests and just accio all the book pages you see flying everywhere, shiz I’m not even past the first chapter and I’m already lvl 21

I set up a macro with my zen and it is a bit tricky as to how the xp is earned here. After a while I stopped getting xp from progressing through the waves and only earned xp from the duelling feats. Either way its still a solid way to level up

does changing the difficulty affect any trophy related to difficulty I am currently playing on hard

I’m stuck at 39 and a half I have collected everything did all of the challenges completed every quest except the very end quest sadly this is not giving levels idk what it wants me to do to get to 40

Xp rate patched?? Gained like half a level. Would be here all day. Took like 45 min to go up 2 levels

Hey do you have any solutions to fps drops. I usually get around 90 but it keeps dropping to 30 pretty often

Every time I complete this arena it says return to highland or restart arena then i return to highland and i lose all my xp that i did in the arena?

Xp is tied to challenges. Xp is only as fast as you complete them.... You can't reach max level if you don't 100% your challenges.

Can't say that i got a lot of xp but it nice place to pump it

This isn't worth it at end game, this won't get you to level 40 fast, you need to side quest for that. This is purely and early game grind.

this doesnt work anymore for me , it was working today a few tikes then it just stopped and i got less exp by less i mean 58xp on story mode

Well hopefully people aren't exploiting the money making animal selling as catching those will level you up 2-4 levels just doing that for less than an hour.

This isn't really fast at all though. I reached level 17 without even trying just by playing through the game naturally. I come here and after restating challenge 3 times I'm still at level 17. I wish it actually was fast.

this game feels so unfinished, con: gives better stat armor over and over, cosmetics gets taken off everytime u put new clothes on, leveling feels pointless unless u just want more health. forbidden forest feels so underwhelming, armor being heavly re-used, legendary gear becomes useless once u level once up due to low tier gear has better stats, replay of the game feels like a chore at the start, so many pages need to be found so u are running around casting the same spell over and over every sec to see if a page is near. pro.. looks nice

It does cap out. Your XP and level is linked to your Field Guide Challenges. So say once you have defeated enough Trolls to get all the Defeat Trolls Challenges you stop getting XP from killing Trolls.

As easy it is to level just playing the game you really have no reason at all to farm xp like that no point other then you having way to much free time🤣🤣
