I jus done mine with backglass replacement and full rear housing replacement at 3 hours jobs, looks like the original shiny clean, but when i wipe my hp glass hear an unsual sound a very faint sound, not sure isit mechanical sound or digital sound, anyone encounter this after repair, best part is its still cheaper then apple store plus you don’t have to do any confusing hassling backups
i didnt read you message properly. some factories do make aftermarket back glass or aftermarket housings with apple logo. ultimately the supplier importing them is taking a gamble that it will clear US Customs. many suppliers intentionally use no logo parts to avoid this potential headache
I did this repair and after the repair I had poor range (LTE 4G 5G). what could I have done wrong? I proceeded carefully. (BTW I have an EU iPhone so I don't have the separate flex cable with mmwave atenna)
One of the ways you can troubleshoot whether it was your work or your part is by putting it back in your old housing assuming that’s still an option. If service gets better it was likely your replacement housing
There are more downsides imo to using suction to remove the screen than using an opening tool + iso alcohol. 22 months since I adopted this method and not one damaged oled or cracked glass
