My favourite thing about FT2 was that you could load anything as a sample. Text documents, images and whatever, you could get some interesting sounds out of such files. Maybe not musical sounds, but great for strange percussion and ambient textures.
Hey, I meet FT2 since 1996 and it is a piece or art in software! I cant believe that even today, I have download a port for Windows 10 and works like e charm!
I just started trying trackers i was introduced to daws in mid 2000s in elementary school fl studio being the first and my main daw @AlfredoAntonioMartinez
So cool that you saying that right now. Today I have been playing in FastTrackerII For the first time since Ive uploaded this. I totally love this tracker.. It is so simple yet so powerful and on point. The XM format sounds so much better that the MOD modules also. Thank you my friend!
Hi There this is Mr C. T. Boxill-Harris, I was wondering if they need to do the exact same version of Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime, why don’t they just Replace the Synthesiser String Sound to an Musette Accordion sound, and also Replace the Xylophone Sound to an 4 Times More Deeper Chime Bell or Even a 5 Times More Deeper Still Drum Sound, Because it is Still my Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Favourite Song Ever Since I was about 11 Years of Age Thank You 😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😅👍😉👍😉👏😅👍😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏😅👍😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏
Oh wow! Thanks I did not expect to get this kind of cred. It is awesome! honestly I just slice all my drum samples in Audacity then I just throw them in FastTracker II and start arrange it. FastTracker II is very easy to use. 🤩
This sounds pretty nice in my ears ! Good old days ! And FT II with my MIRO Soundcard, was tricky to get it to run properly. I remember the tracker supported soundblaster and gravis ultrasound also. Ironically back in the 90s i had done some Breakbeat Stuff with this, but nothing of the xm or mods has survived to this century
Thank you! This Is pretty much famous breaks chopped up, check this one out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iIKLP9DCTAY.html all you need for making banger Jungle tunes!! 💜💯
Search for most sample drum breaks and speed them up and slice them. Some 808-bass and pad synts layered. Maybe I'll do a tutorial some day but my English is bad sorry. 🤗
I recommend Novation Bass Station 2! It can do very beefy gritty basses, wobbles, sinus kicks and drums in general and noises as well. Sample it and play around... Good luck! 💜
I don't even like the sample at all 🤭 I just put it in there and upload it for show some jungle style in FT2. If I decide to finish the track it will be different for sure. Thanks for your input and Happy New Year! 💜
This is Fast Tracker II clone I got running on MacBook Air M1. It runs so smooth! Just so easy to use.. Can make beats and breaks in no time. Stay tune kaa! I will upload a remake of this one very soon!
That is a very good question and I really wish I knew. It is a bit roughly compressed TR-808 Kick in a noisy fashion going BOOM! SineWaves is my favorite waveform. 💜
@@dragonfist105 It is been made like this..Here is a very good guide for making this kind of pads: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GbaE1RPHGm4.htmlsi=BGlxCMm2xTrV7c3w&t=624
In my opinion many .mod samples sounds very crappy compared to .xm samples. Never owned Amiga but many legendary Jungle tunes has sure been made with it! 💜
@@PeaceDub Venetian Snares made his first EP with OctaMED with his Amiga 500 with a delay pedal connected to the serial port with a MIDI interface I think, yet the samples sound so clean and fresh for 1999. The EP is called "Greg Hates Car Culture".
Hi there! That is actually a very good Idea. I just need little time for doing it. I will not make big promises but maybe I can do some short example of the process to show. Thanks for the advice! 💜
