The main thing keeping me from being a confident dancer is the very many times I compare my body type to those of my class mates. I am the chubbiest person in my dance class, and I have struggled with confidence for close to 11 years. I am slowly getting my confidence back up, but I just try to stay positive about my body :)
Is it just me or does it look like they're wearing fat suits??? No way that woman's real leg is shaped like that - it looks like a suit stuffed up to her thighs...and even the man has no fat on his lower chin/neck area. As a fat person, this just feels like they're mocking genuinely fat people who want to dance....
I have heard that scientifically a bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly, and I have also heard fat people can't dance. Have you ever been amazed at how fast and agile a bumblebee is...
These are regular dancers in fat suits. They are mocking plus sized dancers which is why they "have trouble" with the lift and have to "take a break and breathe" in the middle of the routine. They are awful people for this routine. If you so your research on this you will find the close ups showing the very visible fat suits. Big dancers are out there and are skilled at their sport every bit as the "industry standard" size folks. It's not inspiring. It's fat shaming and horrendous. They are gatekeeping ballroom dancing.

Ils n'ont pas grand chose... je trouve ça honteux de mettre des pouces en bas ! Nous sommes tous différents et heureusement ! Ils ignorent ce qui est à l'origine de la prise de poids - parfois, c'est à cause d'une maladie.
