Icare Allen on his 2nd lifetime start, out-travelled, and out-performed a field of hardened flat racers, several of which had also had a hurdles run too. Overall I thought it was most impressive.

Stage Star got an RPR of 141 for winning the Grade 1. Comfortably the worst running in the last decade. No better than a Christmas Irish Maiden Hurdle win.
