disclaimer The cactus is next to the bird feeder and the birds eat the ticks from it. Same as putting a worm on a fishing hook. It's part of living in nature. The birds have been suffering with the draughts lately anyways, so this way nothing goes to waste.

My kitty had a gigantic tick on her shoulder. The tick hook is such a wonderful, useful tool to remove ticks. My cat has absolutely no problem with me using the tool, when she would bite me whenever I tried using the classic tick grabber.
