Tru Shit. Many can't understand or comprehend this shit. 1st & Foremost D.C. got its own music; The legend of Go-Go. That dates back in the 70's just like hip hop did for New York. There were multiple rapper's in D.C. in the 90's: Non Chalot ( Female rapper) I miss spelled Chalot, lls. "5'o ⏰ clock in da morning 🌄 were u gonna be outside on da corner"! Black Indian from Northeast had raw talent but was wise not too sell the his soul too the business. that's why D.C never blew up in the 90's. Also Go-Go dominated the D.C. area back then. Had D.C. really got in big in the 90's Hip hop wud had too bow down and listen because D.C. 1994 was the Chicago before this current day Chicago.
