My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants.
My grandpa fought in the afghan anglo wars and was part of the battle that left the british with one wounded soldier who rode miles to relay a message to british before collapsing on the floor and dying of exhaustion.
@@eatinsomtin9984 that's nice, I'm not fully a Pashtun i can claim but my grandmother is pakhtun. Her father was a Ghilzai tribesman who fought in the same war. Takbeer.
@@doomizdud3573 I agree with you that the cross is a difficult doctrine to understand. If God could have forgiven our sins simply by forgiving, then what’s the point of the cross? The cross was needed because God needed to be just at the same time He wanted to be merciful. If God were to simply forgive our sins and accept us to heaven, it would mean that evil would go unpunished. God in all of His infinite wisdom and righteousness did the best He could to save us. He had to sacrifice His own Son so that our sins can be forgiven.
@@user-rk6hg5sp9o Nonononononono, you're completley missing my point. First of all, by that logic, christianity is a religion of injustice because the salvation of christ applies to everyone who believes in him (even the killers). Anyways, now that I got that out of the way, I can say that this is not what I am saying at all. Yk, it is obvious that if someone says that jesus is their lord and saviour, and goes and kills 100 people, they are not going to heaven. But, no one is perfect enough to go to heaven, thats why we have Gods mercy.(btw if the cross is necicarry, that means no one would have been saved before jesus existed, >>>>think about that
@@doomizdud3573 Yeah i wouldnt want to worship a God that has killed himself just to forgive us to me thats against his majesty. God doesnt need to die to forgive us and also the fact that you can see God walk on earth to me seems unusual because it de minimises God's mightiness. God also does not need to have a son to do HIS job of forgiving his servants. I do not mean to scold you but just shedding some light here i recommend that if you have any questions about Islam go to a trustworthy scholar/Imam
