My son was hit 2 years ago in Pinellas county, a man jumped the light as my son was crossing ,the man said he wasn't looking for people only vehicles,, he was ticketed as there were witnesses,, my son is totally handicapped now, his legs and one arm are metal and he has neurological problems from his head hitting the hood of the car,,, before he had been a strong healthy active boy but now lies in bed watching RU-vid, he's gained weight, has PTSD,, I've heard the man who hit him only paid a fine😔😔
I am sorry about your son. The woman that died was my cousin. They stated in another report no charges are being brought? He also left the scene and came back. That sounds like a hit and run to me, so why no charges. It is too soon to ask my aunt or relatives any info.
