We convert the farm truck's bale spike into a super-sized tensile strength testing machine and proceed to rip out the 383/727 from the worst Plymouth Sport Fury in existence. Unfortunately, the past years appear to have been fatal for the engine. Still, we're going to haul the Fury carcass to Chad at ‪@NobodysShow‬ to swap him for a rolled, wrecked, and burned 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner, dubbed the #RolledRunner - DO NOT try this at home...

Good job! If you use the two lowest unthreaded through holes at the bottom of the block and the ones at the 11 and 1 o'clock position, you should get more support. Those engines are really heavy fully dressed. I rebuilt a 440 a long time ago and used my neighbors cheap 3 leg stand and it did the same thing. I stopped using those after a buddy dumped his engine after a pebble got caught under a wheel. I've got a nice Walker stand I got used but had another engine on it. Ended up sticking a piece of lumber under the crank snout to prop it up. That's really wild that car had a reman engine when it was parked with only about 7 years of use. Most of the Chrysler factory tags I've seen are blue, well the later ones are.

I tried the molasses trick. It does remove some rust. But mostly it got to smelling some terrible. I understand that it will attract every dear in a 5 mile radius. I don't have any deer in a five mile radius. My flat head six is still as stuck as it ever was.

I put a length of 2x4 by the crank pulley to support the front of the engine so it does not hang down like when I put these big engines on a stand.

I’d like to see you resurrect an Oldsmobile cutlass, ‘68-‘72 but only if you want to. I do work for Ford so maybe a ‘64.5-‘66 Mustang coupe but again only if you want to. I’ll live through you until I can get to that point. You are a down to earth regular guy and that appeals to many of us.

I wonder if that remanufactured engine is a 4Star engine. I used to work for them in St Louis. But they was remanufactured in Hutchinson KS. They are no longer in business.

O think we're all happy with your content. And the occasional +/-15 minit track is fine. But the half hour vid seems to be becoming the standard, at least in this subject matter. The 1 & 2 hour length is still coming in and I do try to watch those in s single session. But I can't do it very often. Love the Holy GOAT but this truck has good potential.

So...just an observation. A hay spike IS technically a pole. Just sharpened on one end. So Pole Barn Garage pulls an entire engine and transmission out with a Pole.

Couple of years ago, I removed my 3 cylinder geo motor with a long 4x4 between 2 step ladders. Pulling it out with a ratchet strap. Hay ,you have to work with what you got. 😄

Buy a crap rotten motor home with a 440 they usually have low miles too. At times you can even get them for free just to rid of their motor home mess, I've gotten a few chevy big blocks 454 that way then just burn the motor home carcus and take the metal left into scrap. Rest to the dump or what ever. But there is lots of cheep or free 70s motor homes out there.
