1:58 Weird that it looks so pixelated, older games used to apply at least a bilinear filtering so that it looked blurry but masked the lack of detail. I mean, I guess it does make everything seem sharper... until you zoom in xD
There does seem to be a bug in the game or the Deck in general as I noticed it in few other games, and that is the CPU utilization, as in your video there's always one CPU core running at 100% doing nothing but pushing the CPU to run at the highest frequency doing nothing but wasting power and making the deck hot and loud.
Okay so, update on that upgrade I was think about. I decided, I ain’t gonna be making a whole new PC for years, not until I have kids I’m sure 😂. So I decided to go with that upgrade. I was able to get a 7700k for $164 and instead of that 2070 I was able to get a 2080 Super for $320. For me that’s a huge jump from a 1060 3gb. And it was a nice birthday gift to myself 😂Only thing I really had to spend extra money on was the new CPU cooler. I’m not use to having a high end cpu, so with my i5-7400 I used the stock cooler that it came with and it worked great. But soon as I popped in that i7-7700k…. Boi that thing was hot 🔥. Cause soon as I boot up the PC it actually gave me a “High temp” warning and went straight to the Bios. I tried everything and nothing worked. So I went and bought a Be Quite Pure Rock cooler and it is amazing! So far everything is running well. Gonna try the emulators soon. Able to play everything on Ultra 1440p. Looks crisp and smooth af yo! This how y’all been playing all this time!?!
i just got myself a new laptop that has a buncha cores that will never see 100% use, and i'm pretty sure yours won't either, so maybe try underclocking it if you seem to have power to spare. undervolting can also do wonders (my last laptop's temps dropped by about 8 degrees after an undervolt, and no harm can be done)
