Here is a short video showing us biking on snow in Sweden, Easter 2015!

We bicycled over the mountain for several hours. The bikes we use are Xeeds with studded tires.

I rode in the snow with my 1.25 in wide tires on my 1980's road bike. Quite fun, when you move... BUt really it is fun. Drifting and "burn"outs make my day. That is also the best dog ever.

I ordered my fatbike earlier this week, it's now in transit. Really looking forward to it. Both for snow biking and in general in nature alone and with my dog. It will be exciting :)

I saw and thought about 1 of these but I bought a 29er instead. they ARE cool when your standing in front of one. I don't regret my choice though.

Looks like you could ride a skinny bike on that stuff, in Michigan we ride on mountain bike trails, groomed mountain bike trails when the snow gets deep, this riding looks fun, but too easy.
