@@ffdreams you see its a trick. The Japanese Pronunciation for Morrigan and Morgan...are the same. So when they say Morugan, it can mean either. And with CasCu knowing who he is... it could refer to "either"

you know, divine spirits are strong enough to remember parts of previous summons so maybe the "odin is cas-cu" theory allowed that. It could be bs though cause i forgot where i heard that from

He remembers Mash in LB6 too. They're super heavily hinting recently that he's actually Odin, so being a Divine Spirit explains how he can remember. For example Ishtar remembers the Babylonia Singularity in her summon line.

That plothole already exist since fate stay night with artoria remembering events from previous grail war. Just roll with it i suppose lol

@@cykrya5156 she remembers the 4th and 5th grail war because it's a plot point of the VN. She has to get the grail to finally die, if she doesn't then she goes back to the forest near camlann (after the battle with Mordred) only to then be sent to fight another grail war. FGO (or the end of the fate route for that matter) shows that saber was able to die and properly become a servant

Actually I forgot to ask like whose personality is in control? Like if Cu does reveal himself as Odin in disguise then is Odin the one in control of Cu's body or is it Cu who is in control of his own body but has Odin's powers? Considering people did mention Odin can pretend to be other along with their personality from what I have heard from the other people.

I’d imagine it’s like the Istar/Rin fusion. They’re it’s like Cu became Odin, probably weighted closer to Odin given how well he’s hiding things. Plus Odin had a habit of disguising himself in his own mythology, so the whole infiltrating Chaldea thing fits his character.

From the fantranslations it seems that it's just Cu that got in the Caster container, got a few words from Odin and was buffed by him and the Celtic druids. Honestly I'm just happy that we have Cu Caster instead of the hatesink that is Odin.

What was almost everyone's third Servant only took 6 years to be really good. But... he says he likes being a Lancer best but he also seems strong as a Caster. Because as both a Lancer and Caster, once he showed up, Medusa was done for. Scares me to think about what the TRUE Heroic Spirit Cu Chulainn could do in Ireland. P.S. True Heroic Spirits are, suggested to be the actual person from when they were alive with memories from their summonings, so they may have all their abilities as well. Part of why I'm confident in that is because it was stated at one point that if a True Heroic Spirit dies, they actually die, as in gone from the Throne.

While i like ubw cu most. Cu caster is also a delight winning the war as he could without the other two heavy hitter involved. But still wish they would stopped mixing Nordic and Celtic lore together if that Odin thing comes true.

@@ForestofCicadas so do Roman and Greeks but you can clearly tell which is which No that's not good enough. Nasu keeps acting like it's the same but it doesn't pan out well. Lb 2 American continent lb 6 I mean he litteraly does fusions like with skadi and cu caster.

I'm glad cu caster got new lines! I wish he was just cu though, I've read some theories about him being Odin but honestly if he was I'd kinda be disappointed.

From what I've gathered, it's more that Odin gave Cu his Authority rather than Odin outright fusing with him.

Assuming he creates all the servants. Besides it's not like I can say this is an asspull considering it's been hinted for six years. And the matter that it's in character for Odin to be an ass and disguise himself to fuck around.

You are right! While the Scenario writer for all of Caster Cu's appearances have been Nasu his designer is Sakurai Hikaru (Not a clue who the hell he is but he's listed as such in FGO Material I). And while it has been good foreshadowing I don't think I'm the only one that outright hates that Celtic Myth isn't allowed to stand on it's own, specially as they fuse them with the damn norse. Just look at Skadi! She's even worse than Scatach despite having a way more interesting premise! I'm glad that at the end it was just Cu buffed by Odin and the Celtic druids and not the one-eyed asshole.
