God. I'm actually impressed at this medley much more than the SAO one because each song in this one (in my opinion) could pass off as an individual cover video each. It's certainly *Fate* you'll reach get another 25k subs from this medley this month.
Thanks Fonzi! I decided early on to make each song longer on average than those in my SAO medley. Not sure I like it though, because I'm afraid the viewers would lose interest if a song goes over one minute.
HalcyonMusic - Piano Covers and Sheets I think it’s great they were longer and I also think some of the ost’s and ops need individual covers like both ops to fate/zero and emiyas theme are personal favorites and fate/zero ops have always been popular and no one has made an actual cover on emiyas theme yet the ost has 4 million views on youtube
Every time i hear the Fate theme songs, it feels so nostalgic making me think about the first time i watched it, staying up late on summer nights, witnessing this masterpiece of an anime series. This video is beautiful.
@@andrewsminecraftdump1923 Enkidu: *le gasps and attempts to calm down King Gil* Gil calm down. It's not like they forgot where the song of your own Babylonia Anime is from, right?
Whenever I listen to collections of Fate songs like this, I think about how much of a blessing Aimer and Yuki Kajiura were for Fate. Their songs for this franchise have been consistently fantastic for both capturing Fate's themes and emotions and adding weight to scenes, all while being great songs on their own.
I remember thinking Fate/Zero was really dark compared to the first Fate/Stay Night anime. I recently rewatched it, and realized just how beautiful and painfully tragic it is. Unlimited Bladeworks was perhaps a bit more satisfying, even if it made me somewhat sadder than the anime treatment of the Fate route from all those years ago. Makes me really hope for a similar treatment of Heaven's Feel, and perhaps a redo of the Fate route. If this keeps up, I'ma have a very expensive Type Moon collection somewhere....
@@schufflehunt354 EVERYTHING that is created by Nasu could alwayw be, in one way or another, considered as dark. The Type-Moon Franchise was always dark, just read the wikipedia and see what a world they live in.
@Huabin Situ Well. The 2006 anime is the Fate Route. The Fate Route, UBW and Heaven's Feel are 3 completely different stories. On how the Holy Grail War could've gone. Heaven's Feel being the most deadly because you have a certain Purple Haired Girl turning into something for the grail. 3 different Shirou Emiya's.
I am the bone of my sword Steel is my body and fire is my blood I have created over a thousand blades Unknown to death Nor known to life Have withstood pain to create many weapons Yet these hands will never hold anything So, as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works!"
Every makes fun of this sentence, but it makes perfect sense... You can be correct about something and it still not being the right thing to do. People try to equate this quote to the, "people die if they are killed" quote, but while that one is stupid, the one in question makes perfect sense.
@@TheInfiniteDraw I disagree. Most 'stupid' fate quotes do make sense in context. This one makes sense without it, but breaks down with it. Specifically, the context is Shirou opposing Archer telling him to realise that his dream is wrong and he should give up and die to prevent its realisation. I don't think Archer's realist clash with Shirou's idealism makes sense with the quote. Since all Archer is asking him is to be real. Not murder the few for the many. But to stop before he lands himself in unbearable suffering. Now if Shirou was opposing his pragmatic adoptive father, then it would make sense. Because there'd be a distinction between correct and right. With Archer, there isn't. It's not wrong to not need to save everyone and It's not wrong to save everyone. Just that one is more feasable than the other. There's nothing wrong about avoiding your own demise. It's what sensible people do. Telling himself that he HAS to do it is the core of Shirou's survivor's guilt. That quote marks Shirou's departure from that mindset. From that moment on, he's not just doing it out of guilt, not just for others and not as an obligatory debt he has to repay. He's doing it because he genuinely loves the idea. And because of that, it no longer matters wether it's impossible or not. That's why the literal and correct one more or less says: "Your were right. But, being right isn't everything. I don't need any of that." He doesn't need it because saving everyone is not his goal anymore. His desire now is to strive for it even if the result is nothing with emphasis on the journey rather than the result. Or at least that's my take on it.
I LOVE Fate OSTs. I played them all the time when I had time for piano. Hearing this really made me wanna play again, so now I’m playing on any piano I can find at school Most of my versions are for fun, but still take full inspiration from you. I pretty much listen to and watch this video everyday while doing homework. Really good job on this medley! I really love it!
I think this is one of my all-time favorite piano covers of all time. It's a brilliant arrangement, technically demanding, and so nostalgia-inducing. Thank you Halcyon!
These are genuinly beautiful. They aren't just copies from somewhere(Despite I'm sure there being many places for these songs), and I can tell you put genuine work into this. I'll be attempting to replicate what you've done, and hopefully this music can evoke the same emotion in others that it did for me. It might just be nostalgia talking, but I respect your work, and you've earned a new viewer.
@Kyle Nguyen Indeed, such mesmerising movements must be the work of an enemy servant! For nothing less than a legend of a bygone age would produce them. /s My plebian eyes don't actually know if it's amazing or not. Just doing a bit.
I noticed this channel after the medley of SAO and this one is more impressive than that. Not only the post-visual effect and design, the arrangement is amazingly smooth. Most importantly, we get a cover of Emiya in piano, there is really few piano cover for EMIYA
Fate/Zero, then Fate/Stay Night, finally Fate/Unlimited Bladeworks. I'm not entirely sure if anything comes after or between those, but Fate/Zero is the start.
