My lover never does anything in our love vines or our classes for our teenage heir, she never wants to get ingots for our heirs and every time I ask her she leaves the game!!
During the time your heirs are in custody time out, you lose all their might. If you don’t get both back, you get back how much the one heir has. Other than that, any toys or Practice materials your lover has added will be returned to them, so you lose that also.
What would happen if someone with an heir divorces and then finds a new lover? Does the new lover take on any responsibilities for the already existing heir?
It all depends on what you want. The new lover has the same level of access to add and remove classes, add toys or jewelry (under their own plans), carry, change costume, etc. If you’d rather they not do those things, you should talk about that ahead of time to be sure you both understand how to handle heirs together.
Thanks for the info its helped alot! I've been wanting to break up with my lover. I thought it was going to be nice having a lover but i was disappointed to find out its not easy especially if they're not willing to communicate. I dont know anything about this person i dont even know if they speak english. Everything just happened way too fast. He came to me added me and started sending me gifts flowers and also that lover acceptance letter idk what its called so i accepted. I just wanted a male lover and got desperate most of the players are females and so my chances on finding a male lover was very low. Most of the guys are taken which made things more difficult and now on the 2nd day of been with him i wanted to break it up i just had a feeling that he would not be cooperating as much. Also he frigget chosed our heirs gender without my knowledge which upset me so much i really wanted my heir to be a booy. Its only been a week since we got together and he has not been online hes only taken care of our daughter 1 time when she was an infant now shes a teenager. I had to raise her all on my own. All i know is if hes not back within another week I'll leave him.
Yes, there’s a lot the game doesn’t explain or prepare you for. I wish they didn’t let you get a lover until you’ve been playing a bit first. Most male characters are also driven by girls, so keep that in mind for future. If you really want a fresh start, you can not claim your heir, but if you’ve done most of the care, you should get first dibs on her and “he” can’t do much about it. It’s a lot easier to leave a lover if they’ve been inactive a few days. So, keep that in mind. Hope you can get it sorted in a way that works for you.
@FOTEWenLi oh I know that most of these male characters are female players and yeah I just felt I made a mistake when I accepted to be his lover I'll probably give this person some more time honestly i like the fact that I'm stronger now compare to before when I was single. I struggle so much making my characters stronger and my might higher.
It’s changed a lot in the year + that I’ve played it. The latest transformation is a Mermaid ruled realm that has nothing to do with Chinese Palaces or history. I’ve not been a fan of the changes and will say, you’re probably not missing much in the long run, sadly.
Did you see the video? I had priority on both my heirs. You only get first pick on one, a guarantee of custody. The other will go into a custody ‘battle’ with affection being bought with ingots.

Thank you for the condolences. The worst part was the custody of the heirs. I wish this game did things differently with the lovers quests. It can be quite sad making. I found another game partner after and she’s awesome sauce! I really wouldn’t have played this game so long without her! Mai rocks! I hope you can find someone else to play with after everything is settled.
If you have enough ingots and a new lover with no heirs of their own, you can claim both heirs by paying enough ingots, especially if your previous partner agrees or doesn’t fight you for them. The main rules being, single players can have 1 heir, Lovers can have 2 between them AND you’re able to win the custody contest for the Heirs’ affection.
Ohh, sorry didn’t catch that about the contribution and stuff. Sadly, FOTE is a community intimacy state, and they divide the intimacy in half, then in half again. You get 25% of your total mutual intimacy points back and that’s it. Yes, that is how it is and I cried about it also, here’s a tissue. 😢🤧 I wish they were nicer about this, but I think they do it to make people think twice about splitting. Which I have a few choice things to say about that, but I keep it PG as much as possible here. Kids play this game.
