the VN track is called This Illusion. Disillusion was the version from DEEN/Stay Night which is funnily enough my favorite version of the song along with my favorite Fate soundtrack (god bless Kenji Kawai).

@@demonlordoftheroundtable2456 I love how they consistently have made new versions of BOTH This Illusion and Disillusion. There's like 6 official versions of both songs. The Stay Night version is my favorite too though; I don't think any other Fate OP so far has succeeded at nailing that mixture of mystery and action that Fate/Stay Night has.

Yeah because the anime adaptations kinda suck script wise, I mean 90% of Shirou's character is no where to be seen in the anime adaptations, because they decided "hah here's a character who is mostly built around his own monologues, let's just remove all that".

@@Airier I guess, but kirei is a man of God and is following God's will to hold the grail War and who writes the rules for the Grail War I just would assume God resume Madea's whole stick was she had a grudge against God and religion for setting rules so unless he comes down from his Golden Throne she's just going to take all the rules as guidelines but quite literally everything else lines up to it being Gilgamesh too

@@Airier It was God. She has no means to know there's an eighth servant, and thus no means to watch him. She's distinctly unaware of Gilgamesh in all three routes, and in the Fate (Saber) route this leads to her being suddenly blind-sided and overwhelmed by him. When she stated she knew where every servant was she was speaking based on only the information available to her, as one does. There's actually some cut lines we had where she asks Kirei who enforces the rules and he indignantly responds "Gooood", which prompts her line about them being guidelines. Those lines negatively affected the flow of these scene so we removed them. It was overall just a dig at how powerless the practitioner is to enforce their own rules unless they make deals with other masters/servants.

Liam Archebelum probably because despite the stuff that shiro deals with, unless it’s daddy issues with kiritsugu or oath under snow stuff, he really doesn’t tend to have times where he shows to be or act weak and even injured would still get back up and fight back....unless it’s a heart stab from the gae bolg.

@@buddyb3165 content-wise it is not as bad as berserk but I do think it does a better job of setting the scene. The music combined with one particular characters very well done slow descent into madness through the two movies that are currently out honestly made it have way more impact with me.

There will probably be A LOT of very dark humor. Also, it's not really bad because of what happens, but more due to the personal anguish Heaven's Feel deals to the characters (and since this is something most people only experience after growing to love the characters in Stay Night and Unlimited Blade Works, it hits hard).

Even better if there's a cover of Sympathy for the Archer playing in the background. 😁😎

@@Airier I'm not sure what you intended to mean with that, but if it was that she did betray at the end, then that would be wrong since vengeance and betrayal are different. Though, if you meant that she didn't betray even up till the end, then yes. Also, she's always been good with schemes. It's just that most of the ones we know from her were done against Jason's enemies, utterly ruining their lives as well as saving the lives of the Argonauts several times.

In the context of Stay Night he does not possess it but does have remarkable observation skills. There are a lot of people who try to do some insane mental gymnastics to try to claim he always had it, however.

I think the interpretation here is: Give Rin 20 minutes and solid intel, and she can make a plan that’ll run circles around the enemy. Give Shirou 20 seconds and when THAT plan goes to hell, he can figure out a way to make it work. Rin’s better at strategizing, Shirou’s got better instincts and on-the-fly thinking

He was just being snide about the mess his summoning made. The spider had no meaning until he later gave it meaning.
