Fate Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works 1X02 THE CURTAIN RISES reaction 

Rin wasn't given the full detail of what transpired during the previous Holy Grail War by neither her father nor Kirei. Even if she gets that Saber is the same as the one from the previous war she most likely have no idea of her real identity.

Listening to Kirei talk about the Holy Grail War is hilarious because after you watch most of FSN you realize that about 20% of what he said was the truth without lies or twisting facts. Some refresher for Zero, Kirei didn't kill his father, Kayneth Lancer's Master did. BUT, I don't remember if the anime showed Kirei's thoughts of wanting to kill his father, being kinda sad he didn't get the chance (another callback to Kirei's story later in FSN) Shirou also doesn't want to save everyone as stated in ep1. He has accepted what Kiritsugu said to him but he just doesn't like it, and he, for now, realizes his limitations(and unlike his father doesn't rely in a overhyped goblet for his goals). Will be interesting to see the other characters trying to get into his head over this. Kiritsugu wanting nothing to do with her is pretty bs and I will always hate that part of Zero. Anyone with even the bare minimum knowledge of King Arthur lore would know she isn't some pure naive knight...oh wait Zero wrote her like that, ignoring her character and backstory in FSN, but still Kiritsugu hated the idea of working with her before even summoning King Arthur. Still, the worst pair of Master and Servant in Zero gotta be Lancer Team. Kiritsugu was failing to use Saber properly and almost died because of how much she hated him(and being ooc for her) but Kayneth acted like he wanted to lose. He knew his fiance hated him, he knew she clearly liked Lancer and he knew Lancer's legend. He still didn't do anything to stop either of them. Lancer as well, regrets what his curse did in his past, wants to properly serve his lord this time but makes sure to not advice him or his fiance about his curse, manages to go against orders repeatedly and is nowhere when his lord's fiance is torturing him for the command seals. And little fact about Sola, his fiance, she COULD have resisted Lancer's curse-charm but she didn't because she was done with Kayneth(it was an arranged marriage and poor Kayneth because he is honestly one of the most normal mages)and wanted to have her little romace with Lancer. Funny thing about Berserker is that in Fate route Ilya just reveals who he is right then and there. Basically, "This is Heracles, what are you gonna do about it?".

Fun fact at this point in time kirei has a duagther who is actually alive and want's to kill him violently

It was no ones wish that caused the fires. It was Kiritsugu rejecting the holy grail when he won and having saber destroy it that did. Kirei isnt someone you should take what he was entirely. I like that Rin doesnt let his bullshitting go and corrects what he says. Also Kirei was with Kiritsugu when the grail picked Kiri as the winner, and he saw everything Kiritsugu saw, so he knows what the grail really is. Now though hes just trying to create entertainment like we saw in Zero, telling some kids to go kill each other for fun. These 10 years must have been quite boring for him.

dont try to connect everything with zero. zero is not on the same timeline as stay/night, meaning zero is not canon to stay/night and is not a direct prequel

Dont worry about being spoiled who Berserker is, its VERY obvious. If you watched the 90s Hercules tv show, Berserker looks identical to him. Ive seen many first timers guess who he was based on his look.
