Season 2’s transformations have more energy and better effects, while not as spectacular as the transformations in the cartoon, I loved it. The song for Aisha, Stella and Terra’s transformations was quite addicting and did feel like Winx Club
Bloom' transformation was underwhelming in season 1 as well but Stella' Aisha' and Terra' is kinda good. The Wings look great. Outfits not so much except Stella her transformation is gorgeous and the song fits the vibe a well.
Well, it was season 1. So they took so pointers and upgraded when it came to the others. The creators also said that they didn’t want to do the whole outfit/gaining wings transformation like the animated show. Which I get, might have made the show looks awkward. I’m just excited to see what the other girls get now.
I got bloomix vibes from this with the way it focuses on the convergence stone filled with bits of the dragon flame. It's like it gave the girls that last push they needed to transform and was able to recharge bloom so she could do the same I loved this so much and the song was so fitting!!! ✨
For those who are complaining about the lack of fairy outfits for the transformation itself. Remember that we're dealing with the Fate lore here and not Winx lore. Transformation magic is relatively new to the perspective of Fate, and it could open more possibilities of them having an outfit to manifest magic in in the near future. As fairies who are still trying to control their powers and unlock their full potential, it's gonna take a while for them to finally take grasp of their powers. Let's wait until Season 3. then criticize the show for lack of progress. I mean they didn't even get to fly on a whim because their powers were still new.
@Josh Richards Also, the powers are so underwhelming and too predictable. In the cartoon, the fairies use their powers individually: Flora uses vines to trap and attack enemies. Musa uses music and musical notes to attack enemies. Tecna uses use tech powers as well. In Fate, they use Scarlet Witch kinda power which comes out of their hands and go straight to the enemy. I need more fights with Bloom flying while shooting fire balls or Stella using her light magic
This was stunning! Absolutely loved the transformation, I feel like Musa is missing out though :( hopefully we see her transformation in season 3 if she ever decides to use her magic again
I have this theory that because she keeps saying she can 'hear' people's emotions, her powers will evolve into channelling the emotions like music and be able to use her powers offensively.
@@BetterWithBob If you think about it, it makes sense for why they made Musa a mind fairy. If you compare Darcy and Musa they basically have the same animation for most of their basic attacks in the cartoon and Darcy is kinda mind based herself in the power departement.
The scene was perfect it did a good job of showing how the Transformations are caused by reaching a peak of emotion with the use of the emotional intensity of the scene combining with the building music of the song
basically their wings are: stella- rays of light Aisha- waves/ water Terra- diamond/crystal Bloom- flames They really did amazing this season, i hope and cant wait for S3 💘
I hope ya'll guys understand that Winx transformations are never gonna be not underwhelming if the cartoon is what you are asking for. Animation is animation, and live action can't achieve that unless they have some insane budget which is unlikely to happen.
That’s the problem. If they’re not gonna put in the effort and have the money to make something good, then what was even the point of making a live action show based on a cartoon that centers around transformations? They just wanna milk on nostalgia.

It can’t be the same as the cartoon…they kept the wings and did a great job with that, but I seriously can’t fathom in what way they must have put the outfits in the transformation..unless you want it to look cringe as hell…
Money or not, they're not only one way to do a thing. The thing that matter is the artistic vision. It doesn't cost that much for a show to buy the After effect software
@@StarKri there are many ways to go about it. Since the show is obviously supposed to be darker than the cartoon, they could’ve easily done some kind of warrior-like outfits similar to Bloomix. And with the right costume designer, they can easily pull it off. Sure it doesn’t have to be exactly like the cartoon (cuz some things are made for cartoons) but it can be done.
Honestly the thing i cared about is the story which i liked, outfits are good but i dont really care im just happy i got to see them in action and recognize original characters in them. Ending was rushed, yes, but if we really want flying red fountain and high tech magix its much easier to channel our magic towards winx club animated remake perhaps, and enjoy this show as completely new thing.
I really love Terra's wings!!! It give me Dreamix Vibe!!!! Stella's wings are really really cool too but they're a bit inconsistant like bloom's And aisha's. Which is normal because they're basically water, fire and light. But with Terra they did something creative !
Terra's wings looks great blooms's wings to me sometimes when the flames are showing it felt inconsistent i guess idk.... at times With the wings themselves I thought they were gonna fly
@@imperfectmyst keeping the girls flying would add more money and effects to the show. But I feel like they did Terra with the crystal wings because Flora would have vines and flowers. Plus the crystals fit Terra more.
I thouthg the same with the Terra's wings (Dreamix vibe), with her wings it actually looked like they tried to make it less plain and kinda cheap/bland looking like with the others, Now I'm sooooo excited for Flora's 🤞😍
Totally agree, like Bloom’s, Stella’s and Aisha’s wings are definitely beautiful, but like shapeless, I mean it’s their element, but can’t they make ‘‘em a bit more wingy 😂
Musa is so annoying. She could have helped everyone if she wasn't so selfish. She could have broken the hold the BW's had on the Specialists if she hadn't given up her power. But she only thinks about herself. I hate her sooo much.

so glad they chose a grimes track for this scene and in other parts of the show. her singing style and productionare so ethereal and (no put in intended) otherworldly. overall while i wasn't very happy about season one I'm so glad the showrunners listened to the critiques of viewers and really stepped it up for season two, excited to see what comes next!
It seems that transformation takes place in real time. I am surprised that Sebastian just stood there and let them complete the transformation. This guy is really bad at being evil.
This is so unfair. Even just season 3 got cancelled, I wish Musa (the mind fairy) would have been there to transform herself with the other three for the first and last time.
You know I LOVE how they transform. It’s has that form like in the show yet done realistically. Like they don’t need the special dresses, just give them the wings and they are all right
@@Bloomix_winx1 the one who is out is Terra who never been supposed to be in Fate. In orginal series Terra never benn in serie nor part of winx club. There were Tecna (Control tencology), when we have Musa (Music not emotions), Stella (OK), Bloom (Okey), Flora (OK) . These were orginal who formed winx club not that ugly face Terra and she was alredy gradueted. Aisha would join after few season. But terre never joined. I happy with Flora hat great.

Terra can just get out of the show. I don't like her becou of the orginal serie Winx Club. the decid to not mak it into si-fy like them I hate even mor from 1 and this one.
stella's transformation was really pretty. her facial expressions were so good the final "fight" in season 2 was very lackluster. like i found bloom's fight against the burned ones really short but this one was even shorter
Terra , Aisha and Stella transformation is beautiful , their wings are amazing. We need to see them more. I really wish flora and musa also transformed but I guess next season we will see more about them. We know bloom is the princess of domino and has a sister daphne let’s see if they keep that story line and also Beatrix is part of the trix so hopefully she comes back , her sisters are isobel and Darcy aka icy and Darcy
Of course she is coming back. That black character making their appearance near her grave as Stella walks away is the so-called Shadow who can and will resurrect Beatrix. No plot twists here. Just obvious hints for the next season. I just hope they won't make her evil again. That would be plainly dumb

@@jenniferxd8900 I wouldn't be surprised if Bloom's mother (since it doesn't look like she's royal) or Queen Luna become the new headmistress or we could get a male or non-binary person as the head. I mean there's not that many powerful fairies as far as the show introduced to us. Would be nice to see more characters from the original Winx club team. Wonder if Musa will finally get her actual powers connected to music and weather as her empathy powers seem to be too much for her and she's literally just suffering for two seasons straight. Why they hate her so much? Not sure if I will get hated for this but I would like for Terra to reunite with her family and leave the series. Sometimes her acting is really questionable and I hate they made her gay. It's like they wanted to fill the quota for diversity and Terra was the only available choice
I wish it had the outfit change . It didn't have to like the outfits in the cartoon but something is better than nothing. Without the outfit change the transformations are lackluster. Still will watch and rewatch the show though. Hopefully it will get better.
It does help that the guardians(specialists) have a uniform, it makes them look cooler. But sadly the Winx don't, and I don't even remember if the show told us when they named their group chat Winx.
True now if only we see Brandon next season and I don't want him to be a prince I want him to be a powerful being to hold his own though but not a prince or a SECRECT prince he is sort of distant and jaded but he doesn't mind standing on his own and he is a bit of a rule break if it calls for it maybe and just as good as sky when it comes to sparring but have powers like telekinesis but he controls his better and only uses it when they are in danger ...
I choked in emotion with the new transformations... I mean, they're not the cartoon transformation but they managed to incorporate a cartoonish element without making it cringey... Which is a good thing. There are a lot of cringey transformation videos on RU-vid, so they did a great job
@@lushdontu4015 I've never seen a real life movie with fairies who tranform before, but look at the transformation of cinderella's movie in 2015, literally the exact same thing, except she doesn't have wings, put some flashes, sparkles, literally something into it, they were literally wearing 2015 outifts, and I'm sorry but the positions they were in and the zoom cracked me up, the only "effects" that looked ok were the wings and their powers, if u know what I mean
I think that bloom is in her second stage of her wings. You can see an obvious different between the size and power radiating from blooms wings compared to the other girls whose are smaller and more reminiscent of first season winx club transformations!! Blooms power growing so fast is only making me think that blooms past is going to be her finding out shes royalty, or at least i hope. Canr wait for season 3!!!!
im not sure about that... when she first transform, her wings are so big but they become smaller when she started to fight the burned ones.. but in season 2, her wings size is different in every scene.. her wings is average when she finds out Sebastian is blood witch .. and when Sky is dead, her wings become large, like when she first transformed in season 1.. but when she transform in the final fight, her wings is much smaller..

I kind of like that this mature version of the series focuses on their magic energy coming from their wings. It's very apparent in their transformation and they don't need sparkling clothes to utilize their magic.
It's been 9 months but i still think they shouldn't have cancelled this. Season 1 was yes bad but season 2 was much better! Flora, Flora's sacrifice, Musa's storyline, those little things that sucks magic, more lore onto why fairies dont have wings and they can earn it back. Just when it was getting good they took it away
If we get a season 3 I’m pretty sure Musa and Flora will get wings. I think the biggest issue right now is that they are not emotional there yet. As fara stated transformation magic is from positive and negative emotions, a balance. Right now Flora and Musa don’t have that. Flora might be dealing with trauma from her scars and Musa is literally running away from her powers.
@@1934jackson I think what Musa needs is positive emotion. I think all she got in this season were negatives like, breaking up with Sam, hate and scared by her own magic, being disappointed by her friends for removing pp's negative emotions, and then giving up her magic. She needs to accept herself first because being a mind fairy is a part of herself and she can't run away from it all the time.

I watched season 1 and 2 by chance. The depth they give each of the characters is surreal. Terra and Stella are my favorite with Stella's growth pushing her ahead
The wings are so beautiful. Ngl I enjoyed how Sebastian was destroyed for two reasons. 1 - it's the same way Valtor is destroyed in s8 and 2 - for what he did right before the girls transformed.
I had tears in my eyes watching this, I literally cried. So much nostalgia, I was so happy they were finally able to bring my childhood memories into action. At first season I was so disappointed that no one is transforming (other than bloom in final scene). The direction , the beats how they flew up in air with all the elements around them, just mesmerizing. I hope we get to see winx dresses too with wings in next season transformation. I want Tecna too, she better have purple hair!
I feel like if Tecna would be in the show, she would be an air fairy since her powers are mainly electrical. And she’d be introducing new Technologies to Alfea. At least that’s how I see it
Dont get me wrong i love the effects and cgi into the wings and transformation but i kind of wished they kind of flew, fought and moved around a lot instead of standing there with their arms straightened out 😭 but i still excited for season 3
If you want a season 3 then expect more of the same. I think the reason this even got a season 2 is cause it doesn't look like it cost that much to make. If they go investing more money on the CG it may get canned, like everyone is expecting Sandman to be soon.
Somehow this fight scene just reminds me of the fight scenes in OG Charmed. To Quote a certain charmed reviewer “often the bad guys just explode or vanish, makes it easy!”
I just hope they can actually fly on season 3. They get the wings and always stay on the land. They can’t fly because Fate doesn’t have enough money. The budget so low and stay on the ground is a solution for this.
It will take some time because their wings are ancient. We see that even the most powerful fairy don't have winx. So the newbies are gonna have some troubles.
Okay I will admit the fact that they made their wings look like their respective powers is kind of cool. Like blooms they're made from fire Flores looks like they're made from plants aishas from water and Stella's from light
Watched it 30 times already. Its amazing. Final episode could have been bit better. And i was hoping for more magic in the show. Was expecting bit more but still love it so much . Music made it even better. Can't wait for season 3 😭😍
