Hi stephanie, Thanks for your question,.. but it makes a lot of incorrect assumptions,.. #1 - The Nodes have aspects - they don't. #2 - If they did, then me affirming they "have impact" based on the scenario you mentioned is actually saying anything. "Have impact" is an empty statement that does not say anything. Every "impact" is unique, based on the specifics,.. and I don't just mean the ones you are thinking are important.. D1 aspecting a D9 place.. If I were to say "yes" they have impact,.. then what? In order to know the nuance of the impact you have to learn everything about the planets, signs, houses, rulerships, etc, etc, and BALANCE that with the nuance you are asking about. Because even if it does have IMPACT, it is not primary, and other relationship factors through synasty, etc are MORE impactful. So, the ratio is wrong, the analysis is wrong and out of balance. This is what people do when they just gather blips and blaps about astrology, usually based on their chart or something else. All of this, is a type of illusion that is also Rahu-like in nature.. gathering a lot of details thinking we are learning something when we are not.. We are just creating a lot of smoke hat obscures the truth. It is better to just learn it correctly. That is why I teach classes, very affordably. So, if you really want to learn how this works, you can. But yes you have to pay for a course in order to do it. nodesclass.com has a lot of info on the Nodes.

@@vedicastrologyteacher I just thought it was a relevant conjunction I noticed in a synastry reading i was studying. One persons d1 nodes exactly conjunct by degree to the other person's d9 nodes. Since the d9 is the spouse chart and you cross examine the d9 with the d1 in vedic synastry .. it seems relevant, but i have not found any vedic texts about it.. I guess aspect was the wrong choice of word. I have taken your course in past and really enjoyed, but unfortunately I can not afford them right now time- wise , and $$ wise. Definitely in the future though.

@@stephaniepond5650 = OK.. so that would be a "Conjunction" .. One person's Nodes in the D1 "Conjunct" the Nodes in the D9 of the other. Got it. Like everything, the answer to subtle hypotheticals like this comes down to what measure this is in the specific chart, and other affectations are prominent. I know that is a very unsatisfactory answer. But it also refers to the larger answer I gave. This is a very nuanced and subtle thing, not primary, and even if it does affect/have impact, (everything has some impact) but what is the impact and in what measure and is it even worth mentioning relative to other things? I don't know because I am not looking at a chart, and these things become obvious once you actually start doing astrology. Once you actually start doing it and practicing these things more, these hypotheticals fall away because you know there are endless subtleties - and often this is what students do when they have gathered a lot of information, and they can identify a lot of things, but they cannot interpret any of it. The best thing to do is master how to interpret what might seem like the "basics". Relative to relationships, I taught a course on "Relationships 80/20" - the 20% of the stuff that gets you 80% of the way to the right answer. Nodes conjunction through synastry in Harmonic chart is not in the ballpark, in general. Anyway, I do not mean to seem disrespectful, and I do appreciate that you are interested. But I also have to answer truthfully like this in order cut through a lot of the illusions people have about the things they want to learn etc. take care, Sam

Good comment. it can feel both ways. But as i said in the end, when a person has Ketu conjunct a part of your chart, lets say ascendant as in this example, then they can see deeply into that part of you. So, it feels like they see right through you, like they know you better than you know yourself.. and of course the other person also notices it. But it is more on the periphery, like something external that is so familiar it is flawed and imperfect. But not as personal. Ketu is like the microscope. So when you are being examined, like Johnny Depp in this example, it feels like the other person knows everything about you and that they hold a special secret that you must discover in order to complete yourself.
