I feel such joy and honor from all your kind remarks. Thank you all for the love on my family. Be sure to ask my wife about her children’s book as we write about our little stories. Maybe make a small impact of joy and light hearted happiness on some families lives.
A friend in high school was hard of hearing, we were all jealous when she told us that she would turn her hearing aids down when she got in trouble, so she didn’t really have to pay attention.
Ariasha talking about taking her ears off at night so she doesn’t hear her sister talking is the most absolutely beautiful and adorable thing I’ve seen so far. I’m loving it.
@@k.k8791 ? If you’re telling me I shouldn’t dictate what people do and don’t do? it’s not dictating someone’s behavior if I’m not telling them what to do and not to do, I’m just commenting on something that I think was disrespectful
It was a mix. Sadly it’s a part of life. But there are tools to win people over. After a day of recording a lot got cut out. But I made friends with a lot of my bullies. This really inspired me to work on the book about it
@@Keziah2447178 I was just about to say that. The bullying could hit the other daughter. So the better they equip them to stand tall the better. Think they are doing great.
I find it bit selfish. If you know how life and people are cruel ,you decided with your wife to make a kids.I would never do that by knowing i have genetics disease. This is always a lottery.
I know you're saying that he's selfish because she's bound to have a poor "quality of life", but I'm not sure why. Just because she'll look different and people will be mean about it? Look at his quality of life; seems pretty good to me! Society can be unkind and make everyone feel like they shouldn't exist to some extent. That's why you ignore that voice and live your life. I'm sure she can have a happy life filled with love, already starting with a supportive family (something many people don't have). If he's selfish for having kids maybe everyone is; why is it a different standard for him?
@@ElMona That's a fair question in 2020... One I know the community with genetic conditions wrestles with. For us it was choice in faith that no matter what life was worth the risk. Having children was a deep desire that overcame the uncertainty of our condition. I also had my experience to fall back on... which has been overwhelmingly positive despite small moments of time that were not so great. My wife and I will release a podcast episode sharing deeply about this in a month or two
It's reassuring to see that he hasn't let this overcome him and I'm glad that the girl is growing up in an environment where she won't be treated differently
I’m sorry but when she said she liked having removable ears because she didn’t have to hear her sister talking at bedtime, I died 💀 that was the cutest/funniest thing I heard all year ❤️ now I wish I had removable ear 😩 lmao. Such a beautiful family 😊
I can totally see why his wife fell in love with him. He’s not even bad to look at in the first place and his great personality makes him more and more attractive. Their little girls are both adorable too!
@@ElMona so you are saying better he never had these beautiful kids???He did not wanted or wish for sure that his kids get this disability too,he just wanted to have a beautiful family..he is a good person for sure that’s why his wife love him and accept him that is the important not the appearance.and i’m sure if the same way they raise their kids, one day..they will meet one person too...who can accept and love them no matter what,no parents wants their kids to suffer for any illness, this is not his choice god give this to him so shut up and let them be happy😒🙂✌🏻
@@Cutiekrizzy YES. one is NOT “beautiful”. She is disfigured, with numerous medical problems as well. Neither child should have children, which makes life considerably more difficult for the healthy, or rather asymptomatic, child. Do some reading in genetics, especially regarding families passing down damaged gene complexes. & most people who SAY a disfigured person is “beautiful” when viewing a video would have a very different reaction when faced with the disorders. You’re saying they are beautiful possibly, or probably, because you can’t admit how you actually respond. Even to yourself.
@@LechLecha893 people like yourself are missing the ENTIRE purpose and point of why we are all here in the first place....You are an infant. You are the disfigured one's.
Actually I think his wife's the one who got lucky...... he's a one of a kind, great guy. It's all about what's INSIDE people. We all get ugly and stinky in old age- what matters then? Answer: same thing that always DID- what's inside💕
They only act from a darkness inside. There is a beauty waiting to be found even in the bullies. Sadly for some they never come around. But I learned to make friends with those who had made fun of me. Quite a transformative and powerful life lesson I learned
@@DuaneZingale I admire your strength and kindness. You must be a very good person to have no hatred in you heart! Bless you and your wonderful family!
It saddens me that ariasha will most likely be bullied by other kids for her appearance. But, she will have a wonderful, caring family to help her through those tough times.❤️❤️❤️
At least these days, there is more awareness about bullying. Bullying is not swept under the rug and ignored the way it was when I was growing up. Unfortunately, bullying still continues buy it's not tolerated as much these days.
@@DuaneZingale ur looks and ur daughter seems like a cartoon character open minded people will understand but i knew people have looks to u when u go out but u are amazing than most jerk guys ur so natural and awesome dad and ur daughter ur face is comical so cool
Unfortunately that is life and we need to teach both sides of the kids to behave. Play nice. Bullys don't always target kids with differences. They aim at people they feel they can target.
It's so sad we live in a world where people have kids for their own egotistical and selfish reasons. Why have kids knowing they are going to suffer? Suffering being apart of life is a stupid argument. No kid asks to exist. Why have kids knowing that you are going pass on a disablity which will eventually be the suffering of the kid that never asked to be on the planet? Those parents are irresponsible as hell.
I never prepared for it, you should never have to I don’t care that we’re all different we need to be kind! It happened to my child worst thing ever it is not a part of life ever!!!!!
It is sad most people are also alright to share their story if asked. Its so much easier to ask and get to know a person than just assume and bully. I don't get it. Why are people so cruel?
I have a biological father who is completely “normal” (no disabilities) and chose to left both me and my mother when I was a baby. Looking at this beautiful family, I wish I had a dad as sweet and loving as this young man! God bless his family! 💕💕
This the sweetest thing I have ever seen. What a wonderful man to inspire his daughter what it's like to be different and yet beautiful. Every person no matter how perfect will always be bullied, it's how u let it effect u.
I’m legally blind and hard of hearing, but your personality shines right through whatever facial differences you and your daughter might have. I’m so glad that you popped up on my RU-vid channel as you and your family have just made my day❣️🇨🇦
I'm sure a lot of people, including myself have fallen into the trap of thinking "such a shame". But you guys are quite the contrary. What a blessing it is that Ariasha's dad can be there to support her through her life.
At 3:40 , when the mom is talking about her daughter trying to sell her on getting her OWN hearing aids, that was so funny & precious!! 🤗😍😂😆 So her daughter thinks that anyone without their own hearing aids can't hear well with just their own ears, just like her. I just think that's the cutest thing I've seen in a while, & it's so refreshing to see her mom laughing & joking about that, because honestly humor IS some of the best medicine we have to deal with this thing called LIFE. I don't think I would still be here if not for the gift of a good laugh!!
I agree. There's something absolutely adorable about the fact that she doesn't see herself as different, but that she knows that her mother is different.
@@ElMona so they shouldn't be allowed to have kids? To have a family? Just because they are disabled? So all people with deformities shouldn't be allowed to have a happy big family?
he's lovely and he has a woman who loves him with all of her heart blessed with two beautiful kids that will surely love an amazing father like him😇 the world is fair when you know how to be grateful enough with what God blesses you with😉😉
What a sincerely loving family!! It's so refreshing to see such actively engaged parents that are setting an amazing example for their children!! With that type of foundation, both of these beautiful little girls will no doubt flourish
Selfish to have had children? Selfish to love them and prepare them for life? What the father and daughter have is really a very minor difference compared to the rest of us and that difference won't affect their life chances much at all. Either you very sadly feel that no one should be anything but standard human issue or from your name, you do make this sort of bigoted remark just to annoy us, but either way I think we all need to feel bad for you as you are far more handicapped than Ariasha and her father will ever be.
@@laceandbits Are you sure that the daughter won't be different? Because of this messed up world, the daughter will be bullied or get weird looks at least. Before calling someone handicapped its better to learn about how messed up this world is. Also,I never said they were ugly or anything, so dont put words in my mouth. Also, it should be obvious im trolling. Or perhaps you suffer from something?
@@laceandbits He's right, who are you trying to fool.. it's not a minor difference. They shouldn't have kids and this poor girl will suffer for their selfish decision.
@@OurWonderFamily so you admit it's a cruel world and you still feel no guilt for having that child? I assure you that you will not see the "solution" in your lifetime. Think of the health issue at least, no amount of kindness will fix that.
- - i think he is adorable....honestly.....very cute and very kind....a wonderful person - so nice to see a happy family ! - - - their little girl is a sweetheart ! - - - too cute for words...cheers ! - -
ABSOLUTLY beautiful family. No “awh poor thing” here just smiles and joy... thank you for sharing your lives with the world- it’s truely touched my heart and I hope one day we all can be more accepting and less judgmental.
Do you guys think it's selfish of people to have a child knowing they risk passing on certain conditions? I am Just curious as for me, I would not do that to my child no matter how badly I Want a child. I would rather adopt or foster as its not fair to have a child knowing they are likely to inherent certain conditions that they will have to live with for life. Don't take my question badly....no negativity intended! I just want to understand the mindset of parents that go ahead and have children knowing they will pass on a life changing condition.
Me personally I believe it is ,you always know there is a risk and you're still brining a child into this world to suffer and be made fun of. It's better to save a kid with a already had life then to create another with a hard life
I agree with this. I wouldn't have a child if I had a genetic disorder like this; adoption is always an option. I just wouldn't want to pass on something to my child...I'd feel selfish.
I think I wouldn't too. Even though he learned his own way of dealing with, it doesn't mean my child will have the same experiences and same attitude as me. But I respect his choice.

I’m a future nurse anesthetist and as my class learned about intubation, we reviewed difficult airway scenarios and Treacher Collins was one that came up (smaller than average mouth but nothing too concerning!). This was the perfect video to come across, providers never want to lose touch of the people we care for or see them as a diagnosis first. Thanks for the perspective, I shared with my class and we loved it.
I have never felt this condition makes anybody different. I find it so unfair when people judge you by the way you look. I think the little girl is totally adorable.
There is no certainty in any life.A child born apparently perfect can end up with life changing health ,social or mental problems. That same child can end up falling into the outer lanes of society.Equally a child born with a challenge can life a long productive life and be a force for immense good.
What an absolutely beautiful family you are. Disabilities should mean nothing. It's just a unique difference. So gorgeous and loving and inspirational.
Such a lovely family and a wife that was willing to look beyond the outside to see to his heart. They will be so powerful to their daughter as she grows up. Everyone is different in some way. Keep loving each other! As a Janome user myself, I loved seeing what your wife was sewing on! :)
My daughter was just born with TCS. We are still in shock. Completely undetected. But we love our little girl unconditionally. I don’t know what comes next, she’s in the midst of a long hospital stay… but videos like this give us hope. I love this so much. Thank you.
I have a genetic disorder and I didn't want to have children. But my condition is a muscle disorder I am disable and not feeling well 24h a day. Not sure if a part of their deformity they have some other heath condition that make them sick. Being unwell all the time is not fun
What a sweet, healthy family. I literally do not see anything “weird” or “different” here. I see nothing but love and happiness, a bit of snark ness and sarcasm and I’m living for it.

@Mile _ your way to condescend. Eugenics at its finest. What makes you feel like it is your business to tell a couple weather they should conceive or not. I would be happy to care for any children who really need a home but adoption is NOT easy. I am not even allowed to foster in my state for several more years because I had to file a temporary restraining order on someone years ago. You realize your mentality is nothing short of pure nazi propaganda
Totally selfish imo. How many children in this world without homes and families and you're going to put a child into this world knowing there's a significant chance she will inherit a genetic condition which will cause much more pain and suffering than the average person will have to deal with... Mmmmkay ya let's glorigy this and act like it's such an honorable thing COOL
@@alianaweston2286 very true. And people coming at me for giving a correct opinion. Yes I'm confident my opinion is right. This is just wrong. Parents instinctively supposed to protect their children. Not bring them to harms way.
